Designed with toughness and durability in mind, the Avery Durable View 2 inch binder stands strong where many basic binders fall apart. Its sturdy exterior features a tear-resistant spine (DuraHinge) and more flexible, split-resistant edges (DuraEdge).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This line of binders is so thick and durable. I can fit so much paper and folders in one binder, and with the clear cover sleeve I can decorate and redecorate. And it's reusable so if you start a new project you can just refill the binder.

It has a 500-sheet capacity, which is great for all the papers I need to file for work. It has a DuraHinge which makes the binder open and close with ease. I prefer the slant rings much more than the normal circular rings - you can fit a lot more and it lays more flat when you close the binder. I hated having to move/hold all the papers before closing the binder when the rings on the spine of the binder instead of the back flap. Pros: -Super durable - I mainly use mine for filing away documents now and they basically last forever. When I was using these in high school/college, they would last for at least 3-4 semesters - I did take good care of mine though. -Clear view pockets on the outside so you can label your binders easily -Lays flat when you open it, easy to close (Love the D rings - this means that the rings are not situated on the spine, which makes it a huge pain to close) Cons: -I prefer the double pocket feature on the inside, but this is not a deal breaker -rings can be slightly hard to open initially

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size but it wasn't as sturdy as I thought it would be. The rings are sturdy enough and easy to open but the sides bend easily. It wouldn't stand up to heavy use.. Overall an average product, nothing special.

I have always preferred to buy my daughter an Avery binder for school because of it's durability. I've never minded paying a higher price to last the school year; however this year she's had it a total of 2 weeks and the tear resistant sides are already starting to come apart on both sides. Very disappointing.
