[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are reusing file folders, these labels truly cover up anything and everything that may be written underneath. Plus, the adhesive is really strong, so these labels "stick for good!" I have always appreciated the quality of all Avery products that I have used, and these file folder labels measure up to that same standard.
The label has saved my staff and myself time, believe or not we were using a type writer before.... I would recommend the product. We located in the fly over part of the country, the mid west.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Avery File Folder Labels so much that I still use only them after years and years of use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best labels: easy to print and very durable! Thank you Avery!
I set up an account on avery.com and no problem with alignment with sheet of labels. I did have a few labels pull apart in the middle as I was adding to folder.
It is wretched the way these labels start falling off, in months to years after I have stuck them onto a manilla folder that i want to recycle. I finally came to your website and looked up the product number hoping that it would declare it as a temporary label and point me to another product as a "permanent" one. Very disappointing to see that Label 5366 is described as "permanent" and "guaranteed not to peel or curl". Every time I put one on, I hate it because I know it is going to come off again, and will I catch the file in time before it gets misplaced??? AVERY, YOU ARE THE MARKET LEADER, CAN'T YOU COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER? I will gladly be your beta tester.
Our office has used the Avery 5366 labels for many years with no problems...until they came out with the True Block Technology. These are by far the worst labels we've ever used. They simply do not stick to any type manila folder. This is a nightmare when retrieving folders only to find the labels have fallen off within days of adhering them! Needless to say we trashed our stock of Avery labels and are using another brand. Avery needs to either bring back the previous labels or resolve the adhesion problem with the True Block.
As a devoted Avery products enthusiast, it was painful to experience the lack of adhesion on labels with TrueBlock technology. My co-workers and I were so thankful to have a file folder label that would allow us to re-use file folders. However, the label with TrueBlock does not stick to the file folder tab of any manila folder. To open a file drawer and find labels missing is an organizer's nightmare. We have experimented on new file folders and the adhesion is no better. We have ensured that the sheet of labels only runs through the laser printer once; labels will not stick to the file folder tab. The back of the label becomes a dark gray after printing on a standard desktop laser printer. We don't know what else to do. I ordered another 750-count pack under a product description of "permanent file folder labels" but received the TrueBlock variety again. Please tell me there is a remedy for this problem!
These labels are horrible. The "Tru Block" may be great for reusing file folders except that they don't stick to anything. We have to tape every edge of the labels to get them to stay on our folder, regardless if using new folders or reusing older one. If I could give zero stars I would!
These file folder labels are terrible. Please bring back PERMANENT labels. Anything that says "removable" or "true block" will NOT stick to the folders. ALL our labels have to be taped on in order for them to stay. VERY disappointed and extremely FRUSTRATING !! I've looked everywhere and cannot locate PERMANENT labels.
