Avery Heat Transfer Paper for Dark Fabrics, 5 Sheets (3279)

I had a specific project while I was on the road that was time sensitive. I was making one of a kind gimmick fleeces for some athletes and wanted photo transfers to personalize them. The transfers were difficult to peel the backings from but they were easy as pie to use and looked amazing. Don't be caught off guard like I was though. You better know you have access to an inkjet printer because businesses don't use them anymore so you can't have Kinkos or any other place print them up for you. Laser printers are incompatible and the ink will slide right off.

This product is great, it is so easy to transfer clipart or personal designs onto almost any fabric. Just remember to mirror any wording on your project or it will print out backwards. Also do not take the back paper off of the transfer paper until the project is totally cooled.

I am making 3 quilts for grandkids for Christmas. I mistakenly used a transfer for Light colors onto my denim fabric!! I thought I had ruined the top of that quilt!! BUT, I ordered this transfer fir Dark fabrics and made the transfer size a bit bigger than my 1st attempt. I put it over the same spot of my error and it worked great!!!

Used this with quilts that needed photos and Shirts. Washed without fading (ten washes so far for kid shirts). You do need a wood board to iron on... so not the easiest to get ready and prep... but still a great product. Just follow the directions

I was making some crafts and this filled the bill. avery co. is very helpful on the phone too.. Do not use the parchment paper more than once. cut it the size of your project..If you run out of parchment you can use regular parchment paper. good luck.. GOD bless you...

This stuff is awesome! Needed a reliable iron on applique for wedding things, did not want to waste money on a cricut.. easy instuctions, was able to print out no problem, was able to cut out letters even, easy to peel but very thin. (the clouds/beads are hand painted and glued on separately, only the letters are the iron on decal product)

I purchased this along with the light fabric variety, and two other similar products. I put the same design 4X on the same shirt to see which one I liked the best before I committed to purchasing enough to make 16 shirts. While I like the colors better on the light fabric for white t-shirts, this did go on very easily and stayed on through the wash and dryer. The colors were very vibrant (used the HP T-Shirt Transfer setting on my printer) and there was no tearing, peeling or splitting. Overall the Avery products had great color transfer and superior durability. If I were doing darker shirts, I would buy this, as it is I am buying the light version to finish my product. Note: I didn't read the instructions before I got to the application stage, so I mistakenly flipped the image resulting in it coming out backwards. Luckily it was just my test shirt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were the worst transfer sheets I ever used. I had to press down hard and keep the iron on one spot to even get them to stick to the shirt. I ruined two sweatshirts with these pieces of garbage. never again.

No instructions and doesn’t even look like it’s the correct paper. It came with 4 different types of paper. Some shiny stuff that says cricut on the back. A really thick piece. Some thinner paper that I think might be the correct stuff and then a sheet of parchment paper. I have no clue which paper to use or how to use it.
