Wear for every day and also for daily jogs (5-10K). Three latches in the back with crossover shoulder straps are the only challenges. But once it's on, everything stays where it's supposed - all day - walking or running! No loose pads that come out in the wash! Yay! So pleased - bought three more.
I am fairly blessed as a 36 triple D, a large fits me perfectly. the adjustable straps can adjust for mid impact to high impact support. thanks to the adjustable band it fits comfortably and the band doesn't roll up or curl. very comfy and cute! will buy one for every day!
Since having my first child I've had a difficult time finding a bra that fits. I'm a 34 DDD and my boobs are well, deflated haha I also always have a tough time with the band around your ribs being too loose, so my boobs just kind of hangout if the bra from under. Or I flow out of the top because it's too tight. This bra fits perfectly!! The straps are wide and very comfortable. Especially with the cross or x back. I purchased a Large and am ordering a second. Really happy to finally find a bra that fits well!!
This bra is very similar to an amazing bra. I got at a high-end women's sportswear store. Not sure if I can say the name on here on the review, but it starts with an L. The great things about it are that it has sewn in cups that don't bunch up in the laundry, it also has a hook enclosure back so that you can adjust it to be tighter or smaller for a more customized fit. The straps are nice and wide for comfort. I find it very supportive. Is it exactly like my expensive one? No, but at less than 1/3 of the price it's an excellent buy! I now have it in two colors.
These are the only sports bras I wear now. Can't stand the removable cups so these molded permanent cups are amazing. Very comfortable and hold up after washing every day.
What I like: This bra has hook and eye closures on the band, so it's more adjustable than other sports bras. I have a smaller band size with a larger cup size, and this was the only sports bra that I found at Walmart that could accommodate my size. The bra is very comfortable, but a little tricky to put on with the cross straps.
Had this been the correct sizing, I would have only had a slight issue with the material, but it is WAY too big. I wear an 18 and ordered a 20 for extra comfort. I should have ordered a 16. It's much too large.
what is with all of avia sports bras having that awkward fabric in front between the boobs that sticks out? you can see it protruding from any shirt. the sports bra itself is comfortable and supportive but unfortunately the fabric is so high it digs into my arm pit. if it was lower and didn't have the extra fabric in front, this would've been perfect!!
I would only recommend this bra to someone with a smaller chest. I am a smaller figured large chested woman and the support is amazing through the chest however the band at the bottom is loose allowing one of my breasts to almost come out the bottom and the sides under your armpits are too loose and they do stick out. however I purchased the size it recommended and I don't want to go any smaller due to the way it feels up on my shoulders. not my personal favorite but it is a very high support sports bra that would be perfect for many.
I've purchased nearly all Avia sports bra styles, and the basic Avia sports bra design is a tried-and-true necessity... most are highly recommended. But this one is the WORST DESIGN I have ever seen. Ever! The criss-cross straps are not detachable (not even one side detaches). This is a major design flaw, since the user will be forced to wriggle backward into the bra (meaning, backward over the head and through the sewn-in X straps). Then, secure the three hook-and-eyes from the front of the body (under the bust). Once the hook-and-eye placket is closed, the back of the bra has to be maneuvered to the user's back through energetic squirming. After that, shimmy and waggle one arm at a time through the criss-cross straps (again, they don't detach...the X stays in place). Attempting to line this ridiculous so-called sports bra into place is an exercise in futility. The foam (padded) inserts at the bust are also not removable or detachable (in fact, they are sewn in along every edge). One of the main selling points of the Avia basic sports bra models is that the inserts are removable. When one has a large bust, the last thing they want is an extra layer of padding, especially when the extra layer of padding sits in an awkward position (and doesn't line up with the bust). This bra is not recommended for those with a small bust, either, since the sewn-in padding doesn't sit in the proper position and cannot be adjusted. Laundering the bra causes the sewn-in bust padding to become permanently lumpy and jumbled on one side. In every way, this sports bra is terrible. PS On the left is the BAD bra (permanently sewn-in X straps, padding sewn in, and a dumb design). On the right is the traditional Avia sports bra (secure knit 4-way stretch offers support, T-back style, with removable pads).
