"Initially, I googled, ""Sneakers similar to HOKA sneakers"" and the AVIA Command Running shoes (available at Walmart) came up in the search results. I have always liked the AVIA brand; the running shoes description and photos on the website
As the title says, this is a superior comfort shoe, that in other brands would force you to spend upwards of $200 to equal. The glow-in-the-dark laces are a nice touch for the purple colorway. My only concern is the long-term durability, but at the price, I've already ordered a second pair to keep on reserve.
I absolutely love this shoe. I am 6'3” and 300 pounds and I feel great. Walking it's super comfortable, when standing still it hurts a little bit. I'm thinking about getting a 2nd pair to stock up onto until these break down. My last pair were Nikes and these are just as great if not better because of the price.
My husband really likes his new shoes. The colors are attractive and bright, the soles have decent traction, the construction is secure with good sewing and gluing, there is a lot of cushioning both inside the shoe and along bottom for comfort, they fit well being true to size and are even roomy enough for his wide feet. Overall I won getting these for him as a gift.
This sneaker is better than expected for someone dealing with Neuropathy in my feet I didn't have high expectations, worst case scenario they didn't fit or feel good on my feet I would just return. Well excuse me nice soft cushioning bounce to them. I would think they cost more than the price I paid ($11.99 on website sale). So if you're on the fence about them just pull the string.
These shoes are so comfortable that I bought 2 different pairs. I wear a pair to work in and I have a pair for casual wear. I have had several pairs of Avia shoes and they are always comfortable, durable, and last forever. They are just as comfortable and supportive as the Nike, Adidas, and On Cloud shoes. Truthfully I like them better.
I have always liked Avia sneakers. They are extremely comfortable, stylish and affordable. When I saw these for $12, I knew I had to get them. I've not yet worn them outside, so I can't comment on overall durability, but they are as comfortable out of the box as my previous pairs. Very pleased with purchase.
I received these today and I was just buying them for someone that helps me around my house and he can't really afford shoes so I bought him another pair if it wasn't for him he's such a blessing he helps me a lot but thank you Walmart I like to help other people. when I can. great price an awesome tennis shoes I just love these well they're not for me though. he put them on and I just seen the smile on his face that's all that matters to me and it's in perfect size 11 he wears a 10 wide but aside a size 11 will fit
I had just bought a pair of fairly expensive running shoes and I saw these. I was still interested and researched some, checking the ratings on this site as well as reviews in independent articles. There is some good information, but the comparisons that are made are all subjective because there was no specific data on Avia Commend Running Shoes. As I said, I was interested, but I wasn't willing to pay the $28 because I was skeptical. When they dropped the price significantly, I figured I couldn't go wrong. The order was fulfilled quickly as promised and arrived in good condition. Quality is good, seams are well aligned with no glue showing, they look like much higher quality than the price would suggest. They fit well and run true to size. Normally I have some problems with my feet getting hot, these are a decent mesh material and they keep my feet cool. Out of the box these shoes fit well, the toebox is roomy but not loose. Now, for some of my ideas on the subjective comparisons that I read in comments and reviews. I will say as far as I am concered, they absolutely need a breakin period. I have worn them several times a week since I purchased them and they are slowly starting to breakin a little. They do have a respectable stack height, but you get some shock return due to the foam being somewhat stiff. Some of the reviews and comments I read compared these shoes to higher end brands like, Hoka, Brooks, Saucony and others. If you buy these with that expectation, you will probably be disappointed. As mentioned earlier, I recently bought a pair of the higher end shoes and there is no comparison. As far as fit, comfort, stack height, shock absorption and no real need for a breakin period, the higher end shoes are by far better. Overall, I am pleased with these for the price, they cost about one sixteenth of what the higher end brands cost and are easily well worth the price. For running errands or a quick walk they are great, as long as you don't expect to get something like the higher end brands for less than $20. On a final note, I am not that much into style, but they really look pretty good too.
Everything is fine, but this squeaking is annoying! I read before the ordering another posts and many people complained about similar strange noice. I ordered with naive convincing that the same effect cannot happen to me. I was wrong! It happened just on the 2nd week of using. Amd doesn't matter that shoes are comfortable, and do not emit the odor, lile many cheap shoes do, but this squeaking crashed my satisfaction. People cannot buy it if they're caring about comfort of walking, because you're paying for comfort for que que que. Insane feeling.
