Avia Men's Quickstep Strap Wide Width Walking Shoes (4E Available)

Brother-in-law has been wearing the Avia Men's Quickstep Strap Wide Width Walking Shoes for years and I just replaced them for him. He says they are comfortable and very supportive for an 82 year old! Hope in another few years they will still be a brand that Walmart carries.

I purchased these shoes for my 95 yr old father. He needs support, something easy to put on and secure on his feet. He seemed to like these shoes very well. He's had them for a little while now and he's still think that they were a great shoe choice. He has a wider foot and their standard wide fit him very well. Yes, I would recommend these shoes.

I purchased both the white and black versions. The black work great in the winter times at our golf club. I purchased the 2 pair of white shoes for the summer time. I get a little more than 1-1/2 years per pair. I am wearing an older pair of the black ones now. Great shoes, sorry they are being dropped by Walmart.

The AVIA shoes are excellent! I bought an exact other pair except in black. The excellent quality at least in my opinion is a pleasant surprise. I was happy that they had a 13 W size because that fits perfectly. If you buy these shoes, you will not be disappointed. Also, I felt they were very comfortable.

My son walks on his toes, and these shoes are the only ones that fit his foot comfortably. He has worn this brand and style for about 5 years now. He has very wide feet, and he walks really high on his toes so the soles get a good workout. I would recommend these shoes for anyone who has a wide foot. He says they are very comfortable.

I purchased these for my father-in-law who had previously worn out the last pair. Even though the style has slightly changed he still really enjoys these shoes. He started wearing these immediately and has already raved about them. He's more concerned about comfort and quality at this point and these are perfect for him.

Just received them so can't comment on long term usage. Too tight where the feet meet the toes but that's kind of my fault. I know extra wide fits me better. I was just letting my cheap gene control my purchase at the time. I'll keep them and hope they loosen up enough to be tolerable. Size seems to run about normal compared to other shoes. Never had velcro shoes before but doesn't seem to be a problem going forward unless velcro loosens up too much as they are worn.

the velcro pulled away from the shoe itself when attempting to put it on for the first time and when I called to mention it it would have been more of a hassle to return it cuz I had given them as a gift and so between super glue and a staple that's how it was held together

I purchased pair of these shoes with laces in the store that said 10 wide. They were narrow like women's medium width shoes and too small. They were so tight I could not get my feet in them without a lot of pain. Ok, so I did not learn my lesson and I decided to try the shoes with Velcro straps. I order 10.5 wide online to have them shipped to me. The shoes are larger than the size 10 from the store. In fact the 10.5 are more like size 11. The biggest problem is the width. The other wide shoes were too narrow. These shoes are like XX-Wide. They do not fit tight on my feet. These are probably the one of the worse quality shoes I have ever purchased. There is not consistency to size and width with this brand. I went down to the store and compared different styles and even though the difference styles were all the same size, the length and width was not consistent between the styles.

My husband has worn 10- 1/2 Wide shoes for the past 10 years. These shoes run smaller both in width and length .... We compared them to his old shoes and the difference was noticeable. We do not think they will become more comfortable over time. We will be be returning them .... IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW RETURN THEM.
