Avia Mens Retro 715 Athletic Sneakers, Sizes 7-27

i have always been buying AVIA brand footwear, they are comfortable and you get value for your money

I bought these basketball shoes for my boyfriend for Father's Day. I remember the Avia shoes from the 1970's I was upset that that Avia didn't make boys shoes I loved the padding inside the shoe. In the early 1990's I was working for a sporting goods company, that has gone out of business, it was extremely easy to sell the low top basketball shoes most of my customers bought the shoe for walking not basketball. Since Avia brought back the Men's retro 715 shoe, I could not wait to purchase these shoes for my boyfriend. He needed a good walking shoe with a lot of cushion every morning he walks our 4 dogs. I have two Pit mixes who loves to try run when they are on the leashes my boyfriend needed a shoe that would allow him to chase the dogs if they got loose and provide a lot of cushion and support these shoes meets his needs

I already survived bullying in the 90's and now I'm too old to care what people think about my shoes. For $17 on clearance these shoes are great. They even come in the retro 80's style box. Great for any collectors out there. For me personally, it reminded me of the good parts of being a kid again. These shoes are quality for the money, maybe not be quite as well made as some of the more known brands, but for that retro cool and nostalgic feeling while also being a good pair of errand running beaters, you can't go wrong.

Nice quality and fit. They look close to pandas and were sooooo inexpensive! Close enough for my 13 year old granddaughter! I was pleasantly surprised

great and impressive shoe

I've had a pair of Avia sneakers for two years, and I love them. The **** sneakers were discounted from $60 to $17...I doubt they were really worth $60, but at $17, they're a steal, and I bought two pairs. The quality seems very good, and they're good looking, both white/grey and white/black. They don't seem to fit all that well: they're size 10, the same as my old pair. They're almost the same length, but not quite as wide -- measured across the tread, they're 1/4 inch narrower. I usually buy shoes in D width, but the listing for these shoes did NOT state width. They may end up squeezing my feet a bit, or they may loosen up with use. Time will tell. For now, I'm going to keep them, see how they work out.

These shoes have very poor quality control. Both shoes showed the same size. However on was constructed so poorly as to make it way WAY too narrow. Do NOT buy them until and unless you can try them on first.
