I have an Avid Armour vacuum sealer and these bags were made for that. The are exceptionally well made. Nice size. Textured bottom that makes them stiffer and easier to seal. Have open cuts for easier tear off. Vacuums well. Seals well.
These bags definitely seal everything we have thrown into them thus far to seal and freeze. Will definitely buy again. I think they would handle about any contents as i think Jeffrey Dahmer would approve i think as well for his freezing needs
For 1 st you can't beat the price. I always said cheaper isn't always better, but I'm wrong. I started using Avid Armor 2 years ago. I processed 1000- 2000# of wild game for people. From other brands the Armor has proven over time the durability is there. I recommend Avid Armor to everyone in Mississippi to Texas that I work with in the oilfield this product.
These quart bags are my favorite size that I use with my FoodSaver vacuum sealer. I seal steaks, chicken, pork steaks, you name it. I've been buying these bags since I bought my sealer in 2021 and I'll continue to buy them here. Great bags! Great value!
We have purchased several of the 200 packs of bags. Repeat customer, need I say more? Well, I will. We have never had a bag fail from the factory seams. It is convenient to not have to cut off the roll then seal the bottom. All of our orders have gotten here fast. I like that you can microwave or boil in the bag. If you can just seal, not vacuum. It is good to put can of corn, seal it. Then just boil at camp. No pot to clean! I also marinate the same way.
The bags better then food saver grade. No cutting just the right size and after putting contents in just one vac and seal. Works great with my MaxVac 500 and my food saver machine.
Repeat purchase, good quality and bulk pricing better than retailers. Use LEM and food saver sealer.
I have used this brand in the past and was satisfied; however this review reflects the condition of the bags I just received. All 100 bags were curled upwards at the open end making them almost impossible to seal. When I trimmed off an inch, even that didn't help. It appears the packaging was crushed on one end and that "set" the curl into the plastic. My advice is to inspect your purchase immediately and return them if this happens to you.
Tried about 20 of these in my Foodsaver with poor/marginal results. Some bags would not even vacuum. I think they are too thin for my machine. The bags that did vacuum sealed well but most ended up being thrown away. The only bags that I've found that were worse came from Temu.
I use this product to my food saver machine ordered it from walmart.com unfortunately I never received it
