Axe Max Family Board Game for Kids, Ages 5 and Up by PlayMonster (Walmart Exclusive)

We received Axe Max for free to play and then write my review. We had so much fun hitting the target! Great game for teens to play. We got very competitive. Good quality plastic. We figured out if we kept winding the crank with our left hand and push the button with our right hand the ax would fly higher.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Okay, PlayMonster NEVER disappoints and this is one more example of pure perfection. My family loves how easy set up was, how easy it is to load the axes into his hand and the ease of aiming and launching the axes. I love how the axes easily stick well and don't fall off as others are launched. We laughed out loud and enjoyed it for hours. This one is a regular on game nights. I have recommended it to my family, friends and neighbors with a few buying it for birthdays and Christmas.

My kids enjoyed playing Axe Max because it was fun to use the lever and spin the arm as fast as they could before launching the axe.This game is great because it can be played with by 1 to 4 players. You can play by yourself and try to beat your target score. My children also liked trying to see who's axe went the farthest so there's at least a couple different ways it can be played It took a little practice for us to get the Axe to stay in the hand but it was quick and easy once we got the hang of it! Axe Max was also very easy to assemble and take apart for storage. Since real axe throwing isn't practical, this is the next best thing!

My spouse and kids started playing this game without me while I was still working and they came running up to my office to let me know that it was "one of the best games ever!" They couldn't wait to play it as an entire family (they let me be the yellow axes, which is my favorite color). The kids loved that they could set up the game themselves and didn't need an adult to help them. The game is high quality - it seems like it will last a long time (at first I was curious about how the velcro would hold up but it is really strong). The plastic is great quality. The only thing that could possibly be improved is the storage box, but most games these days come in a thin cardboard box. All in all, we'll be playing this game in our regular game night rotation. My kids said they can't wait to play with their cousins.

This game is easy to set up and start playing. It's take a few tries to figure out when exactly to shoot the axes, but now we hit the target pretty much every time. It works better if you play it up against something like a wall or a foot stool in case you do miss so the axes don't go flying across the room. We like playing alone for practice and together to compare points. It's easy to take apart to put away, or pick up the whole game and move it out of the way. Kiddos are 8, 9, and 11

We liked trying to hit the target and get the highest score. The rule of if the axe falls you don't get the points definitely added a fun challenge to the game.We definitely recommend this game if you enjoy a simple fun game.

We received this game about a week ago and it's already been enjoyed by players aged from 7 to 94! This game breaks down and travels well. People have been huddled around it on our living room floor, at a music festival, and at picnic tables while camping. Once you figure out how to coordinate the mechanical throwing and releasing actions, the game gets competitive. The kids have played for hours at a time together trying to master the bullseye! The materials are you-quality and will continue to travel with our family! A fast favorite!

We received this product free for our honest review. The boys and I had fun trying to hit the bullseye with the little axes. I think I spent more time laughing then aiming. I got a hit on the target the very first try. We definitely had a fun time trying to aim and get her access to stick to the Target. We would all jump for joy if someone got it to stick. It is a lot of fun. It is definitely going to be used on repeat for family game night.

We received this game for free for our family's review. This game was more fun than we initially expected. Super easy to put together and honestly, the kids love playing it so we haven't put it away yet. They like to just practice as they walk through the room. lol! It took a few turns to figure out how to make the axe hit the target while not overshooting and also not having the axe fall short. We became quite competitive and the kids ended up examining the target closely at the end of the round to see how many points everyone got.
