The sound quality is good and they are very comfortable.
Great Ear Protection - They stay put, other in the ear style without the over the ear wire routing tend to fall out an inopportune time. Comfortable - I normally wear muffs over a baseball cap when shooting. In hot weather prefer my Axil's under a wide bring hat. The hat keeps the sun off my ears and the back of my neck. In the ear Axils are not as warm/hot as over the ear muffs, Worn for three day State Championship tournament 8 hours each day with no complaints. Bluetooth - Nice to listen to music when waiting on deck to shoot. Need to remember to turn off BT when in competition. Distracting to hear 'Connecting' that repeatedly comes in with the source turned off. Learning opportunity.
Used them for the first time yesterday shooting sporting clays work great and I do not have to be yelled at to hear the guys talking. Love them have a pair of AXIL muffs as well, these seam to work just a bit better.
forgot these going to the range after using them the first time and took my earmuffs off with a friend that happened to shoot a 65 Creedmoor beside me with a compensator, they definitely work and protect your but if you're getting marketed for enhanced hearing you can definitely hear everything especially footsteps along with people talking
Bluetooth sound is fine, the sound around me was scratchy. battery only lasted about 4 1/2 hours on bluetooth.
Have not tried this for gunshots or other loud noises yet, so that remains to be tested. It seems to perform well enough with normal noise levels and conversations, but the amplify feature seems to have a lot of white noise mixed in at highest settings. Figuring out how to properly insert the earpieces took some trial and error, and the instructions about it seem vague. Once they are in correctly, they seem very secure. Because the loop that holds the control is rather short compared to my big head, I have to remove one earpiece in order to deal with the controls. It's not tight on my neck, but difficult to blindly access them. Perhaps over time with more field testing, I'll be able to manage without viewing them. And assess the comfort level, which for the short time I did have them on, was comfortable. The Bluetooth connection does work as listed, but it is one way only. There is no microphone, so you can only listen, which was disappointing. If that it did allow phone conversation, I'd be much happier with the product. For the sale price, and what I've been able to test, it works well enough. Its just not a perfect product IMO.
Comfortable and blue tooth sounded good BUT the sound enhancement had a constant hiss coming through. Tried turning all the way down like I do on my headphones with sound enhancement but the hiss never went away so I returned them the very next day.
First off they have good sound and volume. But the battery life is only about 8 hours. I bought them because I work a 12 hr shift and they only make it a little more than halfway through before they die. Also the range on them from the device they are connected to is very short.
These are not for shooting. I run a range and they suck, dont stay deep in your ears. You can control the volume by what you hear but they do not cancel noise. I made contact with the company about this and they could have cared less because I bought them from Walmart. The got their money. However they aren't bad for lawn work or jogging.
These are probably the worst headphones I've ever purchased ... worse than $6 gas station versions. Sound quality is terrible, sound isolation doesn't seem to work, and I damaged my hearing trying to use these as ear muffs. Possibly I got a defective set?
