Axis & Allies: 1942 Second Edition - WWII War Miniatures Strategy Board Game, Renegade, Ages 12+, 2-5 Players, 3-4 Hrs

This was purchased for my 14 year old grandson who loves any kind of board game!! This has become his favorite and it is played often.

My son had been asking for this for months, I couldn't find it anywhere but Wal-Mart came through for me. Perfect condition and great gift!

The game is very intricate. The details, game board, and pieces are great. My husband enjoyed reading how to play before we even got started.

our 16 and 11 year old boys love this game (so does dad!). Its amazing how much history and geography they are learning as part of the game and related books for WWII

I bought this for 45 dollars. For 45 dollars you get 400 plastic miniatures, which is an incredible value for board games. While it doesnt come with enough chips and uses cheap cardboard cut outs for the industrial complexes. The actual game is very fun but long, with some slight balance issues but nothing a few house rules can't fix. This is an excellent game for those that want something a little bit more strategic and less random than Risk.

Axis and Allies may have changed over the years, but it's still one of the most amazing strategy games around. It may take all night, but it's well worth it. I miss some of the things that are no longer in the game, like researching to improve certain units. However, being able to get a copy of this game at this price point, you can't beat it. If you're a fan of risk, you have to give this game a try.
