B4O-00001 Remote Control

This remote does exactly what I need it to do. I don't need to burn up the batteries in my gamer remote to run the xbox, plus it runs my TV so one less remote to deal with. It's nice to have when you use the xbox for dvd playing and media center. Great product, good price.

The only reason I bought this remote was to put an end to the wasted time my wife and I spent turning our wireless console controller on after it would go to sleep to affect a change to our NetFlix video streaming. It is worth it for that reason alone.

Helps to have an extra remote to control your video library, especially if you like to keep your game controllers in a separate place from your other home theater system remotes. Does its job just fine. I thought by buying this remote that it would give the user an option of using the "repeat" feature to repeat/replay videos, but apparently its not possible. Still, if you want an extra remote, it's a good buy.

this remote makes listening to music sooooo much easier. netflix is much more user friendly when paired with this remote and not just a normal xbox controller. the best feature is that you dont have to turn on the remote after ~10 minutes of inactivity like the controllers. it is always on

Overall this is an accessory that ends up becoming a necessity if you use Netflix, Zune, Windows Media Center, play dvd's, listen to music, watch videos, etc etc!!! PROS: ~Great button layout~ (the features that are used most are centralized) ~Comfortable to hold~ ~Backlit display~ ~Really convienient buttons for the Xbox Guide and Windows Media Center~ CONS: ~Does NOT come in BLACK =( (As outlandish as this sounds, I'm going to try spray painting it. I found some info online that shows the process. Main thing is- make sure you either sand it, get a primer, or get Krylon Fusion which is made for plastics. Keep in mind this would void the warranty) ~Needs rubberized "feet" to prevent sliding~ (The plastic is so slick that if you don't set your remote button-side down, it'll slide off the arm of your couch.) ~Backlighting doesn't stay on long enough~ (I know that conserves battery power, but it stays lit for only 4 seconds and you end up having to push another button to relight it anyway.) ~It'd be nice if it included an audio function for surround sound systems~ I put in suggestions to Microsoft for all the cons I listed. I'm hoping if enough suggestions are put in the remote can be redesigned with these upgrades!

This is a great product! My boyfriend had been looking for one for months and they never had it in-store. I ordered it online, got it well before the expected delivery date, and he was thrilled. Obviously not used for playing games, we watch movies on Netflix on our Xbox so often that this was really a great accessory to have. It even has a button that takes you straight to your media center, which was great for me. We paired it with our TV and it works great. The buttons light up only when you push one so it's never distracting and glowing in the dark. He looks like a kid again, showing off his "fancy and sleek" Xbox remote to all of his friends. Definitely a recommended gift!

Bottom line is, if you have an xbox 360 then you should have this remote. It works GREAT! I use it for my tv and for my xbox and I LOVE IT! It's really cool because the buttons light up when you push one. Definite buy!

The only problem I have had with this remote is that it won't turn on my tv, but it will turn it off, change channels, adjust volume, etc. I don't get it. But the remote is great otherwise. Cheap, effective, and of high quality manufacturing.

This remote is an incredible value for the money. It works simply and was easy to set up. It feels good in your hand. Buttons are placed nicely and are easy to find - even on first time use. I probably should have given it 5 stars - especially for the $20 price tag. But there is one feature I wished it had. It would be absolutely perfect if it had some sort of "learn" mode for the TV functions. There is one - and only one - reason that I need to keep my TV's orginal remote around. That is, I need to use it to switch between HDMI (when playing XBOX) and Component inputs (when watching cable). I mention this ONLY because I realize it's probably an unusual expectation. If you don't need this feature - I'm guessing most won't - then buy this remote today. You won't find anything better! For $20, I probably shouldn't expect such an advanced feature. But it would make this remote absolutely perfect.

I received the Xbox 360 controller because my old one died and this new one is a replacement that I needed for few years. I finally found it but it was worth it. But disappointed with the packing and protection of the controller no cardboard box only plastic bubble wrapper isn't protection enough. At least it came in one piece nothing broke that good news. Not easy to find in other stores except here online in Walmart. I am happy I found it. Thank you.
