Babe
A runt piglet is raffled off and ends up on a sheep farm. The farmer's wife is thinking of roast pig for Christmas but this is a special pig. Through a series of circumstances, the farmer discovers Babe has a talent for sheep herding. That's because he made friends with one of the sheep and she vouched for him with the flock. But when the farmer decides to take him to a competition, the sheep there don't know him! People and animals are all wonderful characters. The special effects to make it look like the animals are talking are quite good, especially when you think how long ago this movie came out. Touching and entertaining movie.

We love Babe!
The ultimate "under-pig" story, complete with "awws," dangers, bad guys, funny stuff, laughter, and an ending that will have you cheering through a face full of tears. Some parts are really sad. I'd say it's appropriate for ages 7-8 up. My kids loved this movie so much (I did too) that I've bought it for my granddaughter. Perfect for a rainy weekend visit. <3

Amusing, yet sentimental
This movie is reminiscent of farm life. It brought me to how a farm life would look like. So tranquil to be living in a farm. Whats amusing about this movie is when animals are talking, it really made me smile.
