I typically use non-stick Teflon pans and was concerned that food would stick to a stainless steel pan. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This pan is a nice weight and very well made. I cooked chicken in it and it did not stick at all. I was also concerned that it would be difficult to clean but it was easier to clean than any of my other pans. I highly recommend this pan for your kitchen.
I love this 10 inch frying pan, it’s a medium weight pan and the best way to keep the extreme shine is always drying it after washing it. I definitely recommend you give it a try when making nice sear and edges on steaks! Best pan I’ve had so far definitely recommend it!
The professional grade stainless steel pan and lid is everything I needed. I’m a major cook in my house not only for my family but all of my friends so getting this was a real treat. The seat I got on my pork chops was so perfect and made them mouth watering. My new go to pan!
Very nice heavy duty stainless steel fry, saute pan. Long handle. Hand wash only.I cook at home almost everyday. I have always used good quality stainless cookware. Bought a Lifetime cookware set when I got engaged at 18 and it's still going strong after 45 years. This frypan is even HEAVIER than those pans. Would recommend. Always get the best you can afford.
This Babish 10 inch stainless steel frying pan is not only wonderful looking with its super shiny stainless steel, but very functional as well. It the heat is evenly distributed while cooking. It makes an awesome non stick meal. My family really favors this as our new go to frying pan.
This is a very expensive looking and feels like something you would spend some big bucks for I just love the quality of this frypan. It does everything I wanted to do and more of the instructions and maintaining this pan for years to come are very clear and understandable it’s truly remarkable how your food turns out and cleaning is a breeze as long as you follow the instructions provided with the product you’re going to love this as the favorite pan in the cabinet
I can't rave about this frying pan enough. It has a fantastic weight, especially on the bottom of the pan, which slows the potential for burned food. I have made the best scrambled eggs of my lifetime in this pan. The pan cooks evenly across the entire bottom cooking surface. I can put things on in medium heat and the pan gets an even heat that stays consistent. I am really picky about my cooking pots and pans, because I've bought cheaper priced pans before, and they were representative of the term "You get what you pay for." To be honest, I never imagined I'd get well priced pots and pans without buying from the higher end department stores and paying through the nose. I am in love with the Babish cookware and the prices are amazing. Recapping the bullet points about why I love it so much: This fryer maintains a constant cooking temperature The weight of the pan is substantial enough to significantly reduce the potential for burned food. The handle doesn't get hot when Im cooking (it is slightly warm, but I don't need a pot holder). The price is outstanding for the quality of the cookware I'm sold! I will be buying this as I need to replace pots and pans, and love that I can buy separately. I would recommend this, for sure!
This pan is HUGE. It's about as big a pan as I would want in my kitchen - any larger and it's going to be too big to store, but this is perfect. It fits on the burner, cooks evenly, and the handle of the lid doesn't get overly hot. My one big concern was that the stainless steel would...stain. That it would be ruined as soon as I used it. I did take off one star b/c it does have a light stain after the first use - but the clean-up was a lot better than I expected. I used a light later of cooking spray before I cooked 2 turkey burgers. I let the pan cool before I soaked it, then I scrubbed and everything came away except for a light imprint of the burgers on the pan (included in the photos). I soaked again and scrubbed again, but it seems stuck on there. That being said, the bottom isn't discolored, and the food turned out great, so I guess I can deal. Overall it's a good pan!
My first try with this pan was to melt 1 square butter, simple enough, when it was 3/4 melted I removed from heat swirling pan to complete. Finished my recipe, pan was cold, so I washed by hand with dawn soap n dishcloth. After drying I noticed water marks, had to buff with towel to remove them, surprised me, hopefully that isn't an every time after using pan, I hate spots on my dishes.
This was the first stainless steel pan I have gotten/used in a long time. It isn’t an all around pan that I like to keep in my kitchen, but it does cook very well and evenly. Just don’t cook anything that will stick, like eggs. It isn’t non stock in any way so be prepared to use spray or a fatty agent,
