I recently received the Babish 11 Piece Essential Wood, Silicone, and Stainless Steel Tool Set. I have been a fan of and subscriber of his show for many years. Introducing this 11 piece tool set to my own tiny whisk has been so much fun. I have a combination of stainless steel and non-stick cookware. These tools will work very well with all of them respective of using metal to metal and silicone/wood to the non-stick. I am especially delighted with the long handle length as I am short and they give me reach as well as will get to the bottom of my big pots easily. All the tools fit easily in the hand and are not cumbersome to wield. While they are said to be dishwasher safe, I definitely recommend only hand washing such fabulous tools. Especially hand wash the pieces that contain wood. Take care of these tools and they will last for many years and be worth the investment.
This babish 11 piece essential wood Kitchen tool set is awesome. Each piece is so thick and sturdy and very well made. Plus, I love the color. I am very happy with all of my new kitchen tool set. I know you will love this set as much as I love my set ;^)
I got this set of cooking tools to add to our cooking and BBQing needs. This set has a wide variety of tools for our kitchen and BBQ. We really like the nonscratch and wood pieces for indoors and I like the hardiness of the metal pieces for my BBQ grill and flat top grill. Bottom line, we covered both needs with this one set of Babish cooking utensils.
I love this kitchen tools set. They are extremely good quality and well made. They are not cheap plastic. They are made with wood, stainless steel, silicone and nylon. They perform so well for me and I don't have to worry about them putting toxic plastic chemicals in my food. The variety of tools is wonderful. I replaced almost my whole drawer!
These kitchen tools are OUTSTANDING! The ladles are stainless steel! Professional quality! The spatula's have extra long handles! Easy reach in the mixer or the blender! The tongs are short! Alleluia! Perfect for flipping that food over much more carefully. The wood looking handles are light and beautiful.
I really like this set of utensils. The scraper and wooden utensils are my favorite so far. I also use the scraper to cut cucumbers as it is more comfortable than a knife with arthritic hands. I do not care as much for the metal handles on the ladle and spatula as the flat, hard edges are uncomfortable. But other than that they are good tools. Everything feels well made and looks well made. They seem to me they will last a long time.
This utensil set from Babish is gorgeous. I love the mix of wood, silicone, and stainless steele. Everything goes together so we'll. This would be a great gift because you get all the main utensils you might need, but this was for me. The only downside is that they recommend hand washing. Other than that they are perfect. Wellafe and very effective.
This 11 piece essential tool set for your kitchen from Babish is a really good set to have in your kitchen. If you are a beginner or novice in the kitchen this set is something that you will use. I use pieces from this set every single day when I am cooking. The wooden spoon and spatula are nice and lightweight and work great when I am grounding up meat or stirring a soup. The stainless steel scraper is awesome to use if you are cutting things like dough or scooping up chopped vegetables to bring to a bowl or a pan. I use the tongs when I need to flip things over in the pan and this comes with a locking mechanism on the end to keep it closed. The balloon whisk works really well and I love the rounded handle, it gives you a really good grip and it is comfortable. The spatulas are perfect for scraping things and folding batter and they have a nice long handle. The serving spoon is huge, great for big helpings and the ladle is nice and wide, perfect for soup. The turner works well for flipping things over like a grilled cheese, the only issue I have is that the handles on the turner, spoon, and ladle are that they are flat and not really comfortable to hold. Overall this is an awesome set and it is really well made and easy to clean.
I was excited to receive this set of kitchen utensils because there are some tools I really needed to upgrade. On the plus side, this is a big set that covers all kinds of tools for cooking and baking. Out of the box, they all look great. I wanted the wooden tools more than the rest of the set. However, the biggest negative comment is quality control. I took 3 photos to show you, but the wood spatula is chipped on the corner right out of the box. It seemed well packaged. Some of the wooden items you can remove the silicone top but others you cannot, so I’m pulling on all these to see what comes off for cleaning. The stainless steel turner, spoon, and ladle all have sharp edges. The ladle has some indentations and bumps, quality control. The whisk is too flimsy for my liking ( I use a couple from Sam’s club) but maybe it ok for others. Tongs are much to sharp, I have children help prepare meals so this won’t work. Scraper looks ok but I have not used it. A little fine tuning could really make this work for someone but I’m not that person.
The set looks beautiful and feels sturdy. We especially love the wooden pieces. My husband is not a fan of the stainless steel tools except for the ballon whisk. All the other stainless steel items feel uncomfortable in your hand because they do not have a grip area for the handle. You are just holding the hard steel. My husband also burnt himself when picking one up that had been left on a pan. They do look great & professional but comfort is not that great.
