i bought this for my grandaughter. 2 mos old her eyes get big when the music comes on. Its a toy she will play with for a good amount of time. My opinion great starter toy.

Bought for a 9 mo. old. I think would be better for a little older; at least 1yr. or more. I typically love Baby Einstein products, but was very disappointed with this. It doesn't play any “songs” really, just tunes. So you can't sing along like I had expected.

My son loves this toy and plays with it often. My issue is the quality. I found him with the face of the caterpillar in his mouth. A major choking hazard. He somehow managed to remove the face and bow. I'm so happy it wasn't the bow in his mouth. He would have definitely choked on that. It's scary, you should feel safe having your 8 month old play with a toy designed for babies.

I honestly wasn't thinking when I purchased it. But something like this is a little over stimulating for a newborn. The bright flashing lights. I was scared it would cause a seizure.

I opened package to see if the toy needed batteries , but it had batteries that had leaked inside battery compartment. Put new ones on and it didn't work. Taking back for a refund .
