He likes to beat it like a drum and also shake it to make the beads rattle on the handle . Its easy to take with us and i lile to throw it in the diaper bag to give him something to entertain himself while we are in the car or uptown in the stores shopping . He loves shaking it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of it and that it's portable and can be hooked onto a stroller or high chair with a toy strap. Sadly it did not keep my kids interest. The surface is flat so they don't get the gratification of pushing a button to make something happen. When playing with it myself it didn't always respond when I would push the button to get a sound. The music that plays on the music setting is pleasant but you have to continue pressing it to get music, there is no continuous play option.

You have to hit it in specific spots to make different noises. Sometimes baby hits it and it doesn't make sound. It would be nice if there were more sound options. Overall, it's a cute little toy.
