There are no plastic parts. Blend is usually smooth of the food quantity is more than 2 tablespoons. Less then that needs more water to make smooth purée

I thought it'd be easy to blend but sometime its tricky when i open it again to check the puree. It takes a few tries. Overall a good product I will be ising it to feed baby for sure.
