This is a GREAT running stroller. We have tried several others, even hand-me-downs, and I wish I had just bought this stroller to begin with. It folds up easily for transport and storage. The overhead cover has magnets which is super convenient. It also has several vents to keep the little one cool. The locking and unlocking of the front wheel with a side lever is clever and a great feature. I don't know what the handbrake can do that a human cannot do, but that's on there too, I guess. I will definitely recommend this stroller to other runners.
I bought what I'll call the original Baby Jogger in 1990 when our oldest was born. We jogged many, many miles and 5 and 10K's while I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. My daughter loved it, as did my wife and I. When our first grandchild was born in 2020, I wanted to purchase one for our oldest daughter who ran all those miles with me as a child. My online search began with Baby Jogger. When I found the site, the X3 Summit was out of stock; and many of the reviews were not positive. I checked back a couple of months later and they were still out of stock. I ended up purchasing the BOB All Terrain Pro, which had very good reviews. I bought another one for our other daughter when she had her first child. They worked fine. Then came the game changer!! I received an email that the X3 was back in stock, and I immediately bought one as we watch both of our grandchildren during the week. My wife and I wanted to have our own, instead of transferring the BOB's almost daily. Our BabyJogger X3 summit is FANTASTIC, and we like it a lot more than the BOB strollers. Our daughters think so too. It's not as bulky and seems to be more responsive when jogging. I don't have anything critical to say. I'm guessing that improvement were made during this out of stock period. We are just as happy with your product today as we were 30+ years ago. Thank you, Baby Jogger!
Excellent to push. Storage is very good Very happy with Baby Jogger
My husband and I did a lot of research before deciding on what stroller to get for our daughter. We are missionaries and travel overseas a lot so it was important for us to find a stroller that was all terrain. We have had this stroller for 4 years (unfortunately the airline we flew with recently broke it, however we will purchase another) It is seriously the best stroller we have ever used. This thing drives over rocks, in sand, over uneven sidewalks, pretty much anything. We traveled with it to multiple different continents and it was so sturdy and dependable. We now have another child and they both are somehow able to sit in it. I seriously can't say enough good things about this stroller and would definitely recommend to anyone especially if you need something that will maneuver in rough areas. It is quite heavy but that is because of the wheels- they are large. Please never stop making this stroller, we LOVE it!!!
Got this stroller early so haven't used it with an actual baby yet, but wanted one that folds and unfolds easily with one hand and wasn't too heavy for me (the mom, 5' tall, 130lbs, not very strong). It was super easy to assemble, but FYI the instructions assume you're putting it together from scratch so they show way more steps than you actually need to take, and there are no words so that was a mystery. Still, the stroller is light and easy to maneuver and will be great for mountain terrain and in heavy snow, so we're happy with it.
So far I love this stroller and can't wait to use it! It is super easy to collapse and folds up so small for being a jogger type stroller. I'm excited about all the attachments that work with it too! Also the wheels connect and disconnect from it super easy too which let's it get even smaller when folded. It rolls super smooth, I did read some reviews about a wobbly front wheel so I'm really concerned about that, although I don't actually plan on using this stroller for jogging just walking but we do outdoor activities so I needed something that could handle different types of terrain easily.
We love our jogger! It strolls so smoothly and easy to pack up in our car. My little one is so comfortable and loves the snack tray. We use this more than our regular stroller because it's light weight and so much easier to get in and out of the car. Also, so much more affordable than the bob.
I owned one for my kids so bought one for my daughter
The summit is gorgeous and easy to use. it folds up easily as well which made traveling on a plane with it so smooth. However, after only having it for 2 days the left wheel began to squeak. It is very annoying and seems to be related to the brake on that side of the wheel. Overall I love the stroller, but BabyJogger needs to fix whatever it is that makes them squeak when fairly new.
This is a great stroller. It can handle pretty much anything you throw at it while running/walking. It's very sturdy and the big wheels can go over most obstacles without an issue. The one negative is a lack of padding around the frame. When the seat is in a more upright position your child's head will occasionally jostle and bump against the metal frame.
