Baby Relax Mikayla 4-in-1 Nursery Swivel Glider Rocker Recliner, Dark Blue Microfiber

I purchased this for daughter to be used in my grandson's nursery. The chair was simple to assemble and was much more comfortable than we expected. It reclines, swivels, and rocks. It's exactly what we were looking for!

My daughter loves her white rocker. We looked for reviews about assembly and couldn't find any, so posting here. My son-in-law put it together and said it was very easy. You do not need to pay for assembly. I did and now am asking for a refund, so save yourself the trouble.

So comfortable and simple to set up. Absolutely love it!

It struggled to recline. Is this defective? Or are others having a hard time reclining their nursery chair.

This glider is a total mixed bag so I’ll sort this out into pros and cons: Con: 1. (Major) Reclining function is AWFUL. Frustrating since this was why I spent $400 on a glider that could also recline for naps. Reclining only actually worked a couple times, when it did, it took great effort to both open and close (have to leave the chair and then shove it closed manually). Opening only worked half the time. Now, it won’t recline open at all. Maybe if you are handy, you could get into the works and try to fix this? I do not have the tools or time to try this. 2. When using as a glider, the seat is kind of shallow for a taller parent (I’m 6’). With the use of a small pillow for lumbar support, I’m constantly seated at the edge. This aspect doesn’t bother me as much but then I’ve only had this for a few days. Pros: 1. Arrived quickly and was easy to set up (only two steps.) 2. Gliding so far has been quiet and smooth, just what you want in a nursery chair. It uses a rocking motion and you can swivel too for soothing. 3. The chair is comfortable. The few times it did recline, it had a good reclining range. 4. Love the design/look and it fits my space well. 5. Seat is wide enough for my kid to move around when nursing. 6. Arm rests are at a good height and padded enough to be comfortable. I am a first time mom and thought I could spare the expense of a glider but when he moved to his own room, I was desperate and was so excited for this glider. It was top of the Babylist rankings, and seemed to be able to do it all. I will definitely be returning this since I want a glider that will last for years. If this chair worked as advertised, it would be perfect. C’est la vie.

Not for a small person at all.

This chair was great for the first month of having it. When we started using it frequently, it started squeaking so badly. We have greased it in every which way we can, multiple times and nothing has helped. Nothing sooths a baby back to sleep like a squeaky chair...
