12 years is a curiously long life for a flat iron, but when mine finally short-circuited and died I immediately replaced it with this same exact one. This is a workhorse in my styling routine used at least a couple times a week. I both straighten and curl with it and never had an issue. I love the simplicity of use and the extended long plates that make curling so much easier in my opinion. I have naturally wavy fine hair for reference.

This was a well recognized item brand that my wife wanted and I purchased it for her own use. Prices of this same item on a well known national online ordering business was more expensive before shipping and taxes. I make my inquiries online and after comparing prices and shipping costs and taxes Walmart was my best option!

Unfortunately, I didn't realize there is no auto-off. The simple fact that this does not have that safety feature at this price point is enough for me to return it. It's easy to use and it heats up quickly, too. Darn!

This is the 2nd flat iron I have ordered from Walmart.com %26 twice I have had the same issue of the black enamel coming off the flat iron.

These are not real Babyliss flat irons! Called Babyliss gave them the numbers off it and they said they were fake. Paint was chipping on plates after 1st use

If you've ever had hair spray in your hair and tried to straighten Your hair , that tugging of your hair as you glide the straightener down is the same as you'll get with this bliss straightener. I did it on freshly blow dried hair and could not get it to smoothly slide down. It just kept stopping every inch. The fact that this is almost $100 full price is shocking. I got it on sale for $45. It's going back to the store and just re-ordering from Lange. I dropped mine and broke it and decided to branch out but I'll gladly pay full price for a better product.
