This super lightweight fast drying blow dryer is everything... I have pass the shoulder length thick curly hair, it only takes me 25 mins to blow dry my hair. It's super lightweight which helps alot with my frozen right shoulder

FINALLY! I've been using the Italia Brava since 2013... sometime last year I dropped it and broke the smaller concentrator, and that's what I basically perpetually keep attached to my dryer. So I've been looking for a replacement for MONTHS and I purchased the original Rapido, which is a good dryer in general but didn't have the output to match my iItalia Brava. Just picked up this Rapido 2.0 today & BOOM! It mayyybe has a tiny edge on the Italia Brava tbh, but they're definitely super close in regards to force. BUT the Rapido 2.0 has that wonderful under 1lb weight as well, so that really sends it soaring right into being the perfect blow dryer! Praise be to Babyliss! Also, I see some people saying this blow dryer doesn't get hot enough... erm, what are y'all doing with it? It's for hair, not welding 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's been plenty hot enough to smooth out any and all types of hair for my diverse clientele. You certainly won't regret this one 👌🏼 and if it performs this way for even half the amount of time that my Italia Brava has then you certainly won't need to worry about longevity. Also, my Italia Brava is still going strong; it's just at home without the concentrator 😂

All the same features as the original but weighs half as much!

I bought and used the first edition Rapido for 2 years. I felt like it wasn't getting as hot as it used to, and I didn't have a back up dryer, so I thought I would get the 2.0 version. I like this dryer comparatively to the 1.0. It's lightweight and powerful, sleek and smaller design - and the filter is soooo easy to clean. However, it feels like it is coming apart at the center seam in the handle. Sometimes I feel like I have air blowing on my hand when I am holding it? It happens intermittently, so it could be an easy adjustment. I love that it comes with multiple attachments like a diffuser and comb (unlike the first edition of the Rapido which only came with concentrator nozzles). Overall, it's a good dryer. I wish the construction was more solid, but I'll see how it goes. Worst case, I always have my original Rapido as a back up.

I love the weight and balance of the dryer. The only problem I am having is that the dryer is inconsistent. I'll have it on high heat and for a minute it will get hot and then cool down. This is frustrating.

I have had the OG Tapido or years and I love it. It is powerful and gets hot so it helps me blow dry quickly when I'm seeing back to back clients. When I saw they “updated” the blow dryer I was so excited to try the new and improved version. First thoughts were that it BLOWS. Like literally, it blows so much air it's crazy so I thought it would be great. But after a few clients I realized that it does not get nearly as hot as the old rapido and my clients hair was hard to get smooth and shiny without the heat. I think this is a great blowdrier for the price, would be great for someone whom speed is not an issue, but in a salon setting it slowed me down so I switched back to my OG Rapido.

Does not get hot enough to do a good blowout, but for some reason still smells like it's overheating. We have the original Rapido at all of our stations, so expected this version to be up to par when we had to replace one of them. 2.0 generally means an improved version, but that is NOT the case here.
