While the directions are lacking, you will find this set easy to use, but you need a "mechanical mind". (I gave it to the hubby - he figured it out and trained me.) You do need to apply a good bit of pressure to set the snaps.

so far had the snap pliers for a week! love them! wish I could buy snaps at the store! can only buy them on line!!

The pliers are very easy to maneuver, and do a wonderful job applying snaps to the fabric

Just what I ordered and wanted!

Works great. It takes good hand strength to set (or flatten) the snap cap pins. Be sure to use the correct size die tray for the size snaps you are using. The kit comes with the size 20 die tray installed. If you use the size 24 die tray on size 20 snaps, you will crack the snap cap. The rubber pressing heads need to be used a few times to make them compress enough to set the snap caps. I had to remove the washer for the first few snaps until the rubber pressing head became more elastic. I have installed several hundred snaps; most size 20. I have installed about a hundred size 24 snaps. For my use I have two sets of snap pliers; one set for size 20, and one set for size 24.

Pliers works well. Includes everything you need for application of snaps. Works great on infant clothing.

Needs a good deal of hand strength, but tool does the job and is fairly easy to use.
