Christmas Gift
Bought the Coastliner as a Christmas gift for my 7 year-old grandson who has a love of trains. He's played with wooden train sets for several years and decided he wanted to move up to model trains. His parents also bought him the Daylight Special train set. We love Bachman trains. The sets are very easy to assemble and get up and running.

Missing power cables
The train set is fine the problem is it's missing a power cable for the track that means it's Not ready to Run.

When it wants to work it is fun
Frustrating train. Very finiky. Lots of "fighting" to get the car coupled and the engine to run smoothly. Looks good but lots of plastic.

Disappointed
Have had nothing but problems with this train set. All of a sudden it just quit working so will be returning it. Very disappointed.
