Nice train
The train came in a little later than expected, but in time for Christmas. I received a message saying it was going to arrive on Dec 29. That was upsetting. I was scrambling to figure out what to do. When it arrived it was a very small box compared to what I had seen in train hobby stores. It had all the parts but was difficultly packaged than expected. My biggest complaint is that the couplers break very easily. I was trying to take the engine out of the packaging and it snapped in two. We are now waiting for new couplers to arrive. Thank goodness they are replaceable. In reviews of the couplers, several people mentioned how delicate they were. One person recommended having several on hand. We did that since we already had an issue. Haven't ran train yet because you need couplers for full effect.

It's a Christmas gift so it hasn't been opened yet. It looks like a well made train set and I am hoping it will give years of fun!

Good Train Set for the price paid
The train set was a big hit with my grandson (and my cat too). Very easy to set up and it ran perfectly. The tracks are easy to assemble and will work on a low pile carpet. This was bought to replace a 20 year old Bachmann set that was damaged by water and 20 years later the quality is almost the same. I would recommend adding the 4 piece straight track set if you plan on using around a Christmas tree.
