great for hurricane/disaster storage
I happen to like instant mashed potatoes and this is pretty good. Does it taste like regular mashed potatoes? No, it does not. It is instant. It did not give me heartburn so it is a winner for me. I ordered more.
It's not really two servings, unless you like small portions. Shelf life is shorter than many FD meals, as has milk powder, and that just doesn't store for decades. Last, its more enjoyable if you separate the potatoes and gravy, and add the boiling water to the beef in the pouch first, let that soak, then add the rest-- and slowly add more boiling water. Not too much, you don't want potato soup.
Has a relatively short shelf life, and cost per serving compared to longer shelf life freeze dried food is disappointing. I will not be purchasing any more product from this brand for that reason. The product description on Walmart site did not specify this.
if you dont like thyme then dont buy this cause it has way to much in it
