The backrack was mainly for keeping thieves from sliding through the back window and stealing the truck. But it looks great.
This fit my 2004 Ram 1500 ST, reg cab, short box, 4x4, perfect. Looks like it grew there. Easy to put on, solid like a rock ! Will prevent me from breaking my back window loading my ATV.
It looks great in the box but I have been waiting for the hardware to install it over a month.

For the purpose of protecting your truck back window I give it 5 stars and has very good price for what you get. The directions on how to install it I would give a 1 star. No directions in the box, the QR Code does not go to the directions either. I finally had to watch different You Tube videos on how to install it. It took way longer than it should have to install since basically I used trial and error to figure it out. Not sure I buy again without better instructions.
I got this with the tonneau bracket kit and it does work great with a tonneau. It's super solid and looks really nice. A put my quad in the bed a lot and it's just what I need. I found the videos on Youtube much more helpful than the instructions, but it really was not too hard at all to install.
I like this rack. The only flaw is there is no end points to secure ladders to the edge. However, I am able to tie them to the middle.
Received the rack and hardware kit within just a few days! Easy install, looks great, solid mounting hardware (kinda wish the hardware was coated black, might paint 'em). Buying the Backrack through Realtruck was even cheaper than Backracks' actual site. Thank you, Realtruck! Reason for 4 star, chip in paint on very top of rack(that nobody will ever see). Understand shipping can be rough but felt the packaging could have used a little extra.
I received the hardware in 3 days. You changed the delivery date 3 times. I received a survey before I got the product. I answered it accordingly. I then received 3 emails. All starting with per your request. I DIDN'T REQUEST anything i just answered a survey. The last email said you were DONE. No problem I just ordered some other products from Rough Country. I got everything in 3 days. They use fed ex also.
Was shipped to me twice both times a was damaged due. In adequate packing so I canceled the second one and bought it somewhere else very disappointed with the way you guys pack your product
