Backyard Discovery Atlantis Cedar Wood Swing Set, Wave Slide, Clubhouse, Rock Wall

I bought this for my son on his 4th birthday. He absolutely loves it and I can't wait to see his imagination soar as he's playing pirates, looking for dinosaurs and going down the "super speed slide"! As a single mother, I spend hours researching what would be the best and most affordable for my budget. I had initially tried to purchase this same set through walmart.com because it was cheaper. However, it was not in stock (and we would have had to pick it up from the store). They also could not tell me when it would be in stock. I received a coupon from Backyard Discovery's mailing list and it made the play set cheaper than what I would have paid at Wal-Mart. The fact that it was then delivered to my home was a bonus too! Myself, my mother and a friend of hers put this play set together. Thanks to the instructions and similar minds, we only had to redo about 3 pieces that were initially put on backwards. I was worried at first that it would be difficult to do without a strong (or tall man). But we completed the project in a day and a half. It probably could have been done in 1 day, but we couldn't build in the dark. We reveled in the accomplishment of completing the project on our own and in a short time frame. Thank you Backyard Discovery for a great play set that is easy to build, no matter your gender or age and that it is also affordable and sturdy!

Our Atlantis swingset was assembled about a month ago and our 1 and 3 year old love it! It is the perfect size for our yard and very stable. They will be able to play on it for years to come! The swingset itself I give 5 stars. The assembly process with GoConfigure was easy to set up but they didn't call to say they were on their way as they said during scheduling, the gentleman that came to the door didn't introduce himself as being from GoConfigure (and wearing plain clothes he could have been anyone!), and he also didn't inspect the swingset with me to ensure all was assembled properly and securely (but I was expected to initial and sign paperwork stating he did so). It only took them about 5-6 hours to assemble. Knowing it would have taken us at least a couple days to do ourselves made it worth the extra expense.

We purchased this swing set for our 3.5 year old. The installers, who were great, put it together for us and our daughter has been playing on it constantly. She even ate her lunch in it. We are so happy with the sturdiness of it and know it will provide hours of entertaining for years to come.

My kids love it, ages 2 and 3. I hope to get 5 to 7 years out of it. We had the back yard leveled and are using play sand. I would not recommend play sand if you live somewhere that gets rain. I am about 165 lbs and it is creaky when I swing on it, so I would also not recommend it for adults. For little kids it is great though. Get the assembly, don't mess with installing this thing yourself, it is like 200 screws. I am VERY frugal and I can tell you it is well worth it, wouldn't be hard to do myself, just incredibly time consuming. Took 3 adults about 7 full hours of working NON Stop.

This swing set is fabulous. Sturdy, nice size climbing wall, ladder & slide plus fun lunch counter & nice wood roof (other brands had cloth). The windows were also a hit with our 3 1/2 year old. She is the perfect age to successfully climb and use all pieces of the set. Our 1 1/2 year old loves it too but of course needs help. It is pretty hard to assemble. Took two days. Would have appreciated a baby swing included instead of hanging bars.

Decent. Instructions can be tough to follow but manageable. Time consuming def need two people to build or move. Some boards came warped or not drilled and coded on all sides. Otherwise not bad. Kids love it

We've had the swing set built for about a month now and our 3 year old is absolutely in love with it. It was easy to build, but plan for it to take you several days. Feels sturdy once assembled. The wood has been stained but not sealed at the factory, so beware that you have to seal it yourself before you assemble it to keep the warranty. That's a surprisingly difficult task given how many pieces there are. I don't see why it could not be sealed at the factory. The wood is a little bit softer than I was hoping for, but it's still a good swing set.

My husband was able to put this together by himself over a weekend, and said he was pleasantly surprised that everything came together pretty smoothly. The only complaints were that we were missing one fastener for the slide and some of the wood was already peeling and chipping. We will definitely be sealing the wood. My three year old is the perfect size for this and she will be able to enjoy it for a couple years at least. This set is definitely best for younger children.

I would say that my son has enjoyed the play set a lot. Has lots of things for him to play on. One area I would improve would be how the parts area organized and labeled. Some of the wood parts the numbers were hard to read. And there so many pieces I would recommend picking out all the pieces you need for each step and then start building. I did that for the second half of the building and it went a lot smoother
