Backyard Discovery Barrington 14' x 10' Cedar Wood Gazebo, Galvanized Steel Roof, PowerPort

Beautiful gazebo, sturdy, and will last forever! I love sitting under it in the rain with our gas firepit. My husband, son and I assembled it in 2 days. We are pros now and could assemble them much faster now that we know what we are doing. LOL Follow the directions to the tee as far as measurements when assembling the roof to make sure it is square. All the holes lined up, the pieces were marked. The one thing I would have liked is a touch up pen. Some of the wood was scratched and the really light color shows through under the roof- would be nice to cover those up. You need an impact drill for concrete slab and a tall ladder at minimum. We used a scaffold which was amazingly helpful for all aspects of assembly- instead of moving a ladder around all the time. The metal roof drains under the trim, though, which I thought was weird- to have it all go down metal, then under a metal piece that is placed over the wood edges. It seems like that might wear own the wood all around the roof.

Great Gazebo, and went together great. I had a couple damaged pieces from shipment, and called customer service, got someone I could understand, and she had my replacement parts shipped out same day no questions asked. Very impressed and will recommend backyard discovery to anyone i know looking for a Gazebo!

To start, I am not a carpenter but am handy with tools. I was a little concerned that I was taking on a little too much with this 24x12 Gazebo. I could not have been more wrong. The directions were direct and detailed but simple to understand. The hardware was well marked and separated into small bags. All parts were well marked and in good condition. The sheet metal parts were sturdy and arrived without bends or scratches. My wife and I built this unit in about 2 weeks. It could have been less but we only worked 3 hours per day. I purchased this to enclose my well water reverse osmosis system. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the parts and materials. All direction were right on and the parts were all cut perfectly. I honestly have no negative comments. It was a pleasure to build, the price was reasonable and the result was exactly as I expected. I have even recommended this unit to my friends and family with the hope that they will invite me to help them.

I purchased this gazebo a few weeks ago. It was very well built, and I'm very happy with the product. I decided to make it a permanent screen house by adding walls to the gazebo. I think it turned out very well.

This gazebo is beautiful. It has easy to follow instructions, all the birds and hardware are numbered and every piece was there. I'm very impressed with this company. My husband and I mostly did this project with the exception of people helping hold. And we're still married!!!

I just completed the staining and assembly of the Barrington 14x12 gazebo. You won't find a better company than Backyard Discovery for pre-sales & installation support, quality materials, 5 yr. warranty, and beautiful design. We are extremely pleased!!!

We purchased our Gazebo about a month ago and it is one of the best purchases we ever made! We love our back deck, but in the afternoon and early evening, the sun beats down on the deck making it almost unusable. We installed the Gazebo on the deck and added roll up/down blinds to the west and north side, a ceiling fan, and lighting. Our only regret is that we didn't do it 20 years ago. My wife and I installed the deck doing most of the work ourselves. We engaged our son to help lift the 12 foot roof panels into place. You definitely need at least 3 people for that step. The instructions and BILT app were absolutely perfect. They were very clear and we didn't encounter any mistakes or issues. We finished it with linseed oil, which we plan on reapplying twice a year (spring and fall).

Excellent quality and service. Kit came in on time and went together with ease. Lots of detail to parts alignment and manufacturing. We had one roofing board with a broken lap joint that Backyard Discovery promptly replaced (the process to order replacement parts was seamless). Very happy with the purchase and look forward to ordering future Backyard Discovery parts. Swing Set is next :)

We really love our Gazebo. I can't say there weren't a few challenges putting it all together but having a construction background did help. A few pieces came in damaged and customer service was incredible and got the replacement parts to us very quickly.

All the boxes came very quickly and had no damage. Assembly was straight forward and the instructions were clear. I had one issue and Backyard sent a new part within 3 days,. Great customer service! The metal roof panels were slightly bigger than the instructions stated, but everything went together well. Pay attention to the instructions that say you need 3 people for lifting up the roof. The gazebo looks beautiful!
