Backyard Discovery Beach Front Cedar Wood Swing Set, Slide, Play Deck, Monkey Bars

Everything arrived in 4 boxes...Would recommend having at least 2 -3 people.. I preferred using the instruction booklet that came with packaging instead of app. Installed over couple of days spending 2-3 hrs. on average.. As expected lots of wooden parts, nuts, bolts. Arranging everything alphabetically, numerical order and laying it down in the lawn helps a lot in assembly process. Customer service was helpful to send only couple of missing bolts in probably like 400, its not bad at all.. Not anchored to ground.. but still pretty stable... Not sure about longevity.. Cedar smells good.. all parts are well made and good quality and everything fit properly... Kids are enjoying it... Its got most things swing slide monkey bar rock climbing mini sitting area... sand box

I was very happy with the quality and sturdiness of this playset for the price! I have a 3 1/2 year old boy and it has everything he could want on it! My husband spent about 8 hours one day, and two more two hour sessions to have it completed - worked by himself the whole time and never felt he needed a second person. He also did put a deck stain and protectant on the wood to keep it in good shape (only because we chose to, haven't noticed any defects in wood). I think its a really great compromise between a cheap and scary set versus a several thousand dollar set you need professionally installed.

We bought this for the grandkids ages 6 weeks, 2 years and 4 years. They really like it. It seems like it is a safe option for them now and they will be able to enjoy it for many years. The guys in our family put it together in about 8 solid hours of focused work.

The beachfront swingset arrived as advertised. I would have liked to see the lumber a little thicker as the screws to hold some of the railing pieces together could not penetrate deep enough so when my six year old grandson and his friends would pull and tug the screws would come out.Otherwise it’s a great set up for the kids

I would definitely give this 5 stars except the oddness of the monkey bars leading to nothing. However it was semi easy to put together (took a lot of time but that’s okay and expected). It is the perfect size for our children for many years to come. Love the rock climbing wall. My daughter is in love with it. Good price for the good quality! Also buy direct from their website so you get the warranty and parts guarantee.

Very happy with the swing set overall. Assembly took at least 11 hours, but the instructions via smart phone app were good. I do question the weight limit. When my 60lb son swings he shakes the entire structure. So I doubt it will continue to support him up over 100 pounds. The rest of the structure does seem sturdy and held over 200 pounds during assembly.

Kind of scary... the swing beam and support post are a bit flimsy. I get nervous when my girls swing at the same time. It looks and sounds like it’s going to break. I guess you get what you pay for. Not worth the $$$ unless it for like grandmas house when the kids go over on the weekends. Spend a little more and get one of the more expensive sets. They’re made a lot sturdier, our neighbor has one.

Wood is very thin and cheap. Takes forever to put together, missing parts. Also the picture is extremely misleading. Product is very small not really appropriate for kids over 5/6. The bench is literally 5 in wide. I will post a pic of piece for bench. Overall I’m really disappointed. I should have spent a few hundred more and got something that would actually last a while.

Put this together and had 5 mph winds and it fell apart. Snapped boards and everything. Only used for 2 weeks.
