Backyard Discovery Beach Front Swing Set Box 1

We bought this swing set for our grand daughter, she is enjoying it very much. My son and I put it together. I highly recommend inventorying and organizing all of the parts. My daughter in law followed the instructions and stayed ahead of us with parts. Assembly was time consuming but went well, it took a full day. The only complaint I have is that I received an email saying that in order for the warranty to apply we would have to seal all of the wood. This took an extra day and was a pain but not that big of a deal.

We bought this swing set for our granddaughter last month and she loves it. The assembly does take a full day with two people because of all the steps and pieces. There was one piece missing so we had to find another piece to finish the swing set, otherwise everything went smoothly. Our granddaughter was anxiously waiting to play on it. The set is made with quality materials so it should last a long time. Everyone is happy with the purchase!

bought this set for my two grandsons 3 an 4 years old. they are so excited an love the set. Took a while to put it up, instructions were at first a bit daunting but once you start its not bad at all. Just alot. thank goodness the boards are marked,and hardware in separate bags. As other reviews separating the boards for each step is helpful an makes assembly much faster.

Parts fit together well and mostly clear instructions. Parts labeled well, and spare fasteners were provided for nearly each bag. Appreciated them providing torx bits and wrenches. Assembled in 1 day and only required a second person to help move some of the larger sub-assemblies.

We bought this for the grandkids ages 6 weeks, 2 years and 4 years. They really like it. It seems like it is a safe option for them now and they will be able to enjoy it for many years. The guys in our family put it together in about 8 solid hours of focused work.

I paid to have it built and the 2 guys did a fantastic job of setting it up within 5 hours. When my adorable 2 year old grandson first saw it, he kept saying “wow, Mima (that’s what he calls me) and saying, thank you Mima and then gracias Mima. Melted my heart. Now he tells his mom, my daughter that he wants to go to Mima’s house all the time to get on the slide! It’s a great playset! I highly recommend it for small children.

For the price, this is a nice set. I will say that the instructions are seriously lacking, and at times they were essentially useless. In all I would recommend sitting down and setting out the hardware ahead of time, step by step. That will make assembly go much smoother.

We used the paper instructions as well as the BILT app. There were 4 people working on the assembly. The app said it would take 2 people 10 hours to complete. It took the 4 of us 7.5 hours. The only downfall was the wood was already cracked in some places so once we were screwing things in, the cracks got worse.

I've had this swing set for a couple of weeks now and my kids really enjoy it. I would say it's best for up to ages 8 or 9. They do not get bored with all the different features. It seems very sturdy and durable so far. The only flaw I see is the monkey bars. They are not really functional. The child climbs up and goes across 3 bars and has to drop down or my kids try to climb up into the house. There should be a platform so they can easily turn around and go back but ideally more monkey bars as well.

We purchased our swing set and paid extra for the installation. Definitely recommended! It took the installers over 12 hours to put it together. It’s a perfect size for our 3 year old, but wish it had more features for older children. There are only 3 monkey bars and they lead to a dead end. It does not allow you to use the monkey bars to get onto the platform to the slide which seemed pointless to me. But, in terms of price comparison, we can’t complain. Plus my daughter loves it.
