Perfect for our 3 year old! Slide is perfect, and think we’ll get 3 years of play out of this. Our son has been playing on it for 2 hours non-stop since we put it up, Took my husband about 11 hours to put together by himself, without the monkey bars. Not hard, just lots to do. He has lots of tools and know-how. Said to definitely “pre-bend” the slide. Worth every minute and penny! Great buy!

Ordered this around Thanksgiving as a Christmas present for my 4 year old daughter. So far we have no complaints. I read tons of reviews for tons of swingsets. I was a little worried reading some of the negative reviews however I have no complaints on the assembled product. Please note that this swingset is for children. The age range on this particular set says 2-10 I think. That is probably accurate. I would not recommend anyone older than 10 get on it. It’s well made for that age group. If you want a swingset you as a parent can swing on and play on with your children, consider a different one. When you read the reviews that say this thing takes a long time to put together, listen to them. It’s took about 10 hours to assemble this product. You absolutely have to have 2 people to do it. It’s not hard, it’s just every single step has 2 substeps. In order to set 1 bolt you have to drive a T-nut first. It’s just a very time consuming and tedious assembly. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to put this together.

My family and I bought this for my 2 year old for her birthday and she absolutely LOVES it! She’s always had fun at the local playground but I wanted something she could play with at home if I didn’t feel like going to the park. It took my husband and I about 13-14 hours to put together but we had to take turns putting it together because my 2 year old kept getting in the way. So if you can take a weekend to be child free to put it together I’m sure it would get done much sooner. But if you’re debating on getting it or not I would highly recommend doing it! Split the cost with family members if you can!

My only complaint is with the instructions. The paper ones don’t give you the correlating numbers for the packaging of the hardware. The app does, but literally does piece by piece when you could be repeating it 3 times and have saved a lot of time by grabbing 3 Of the same boards/bolts/screws. 274 steps to assemble the dang thing. We eventually learned to look ahead a few steps to see what was coming, but it was irritating. In all it took us 9 hours to assemble and is very sturdy. We are pleased.

For the most part, the wood pieces were accurately cut and the pre-drilled holes were correctly sited. I ran into a few places where that was not the case, but drilling new holes in the right places was easy enough. There is a lot of work to assemble this set, but the instructions were good and I appreciate that extra hardware was included. I applied sealer throughout the construction -- that slowed completion, but I believe the time it cost me will better preserve the set. Assembling the slide was tough, even with the extra pair of hands the instructions say are necessary.

We ordered this around Christmas time and The kids love it. I would suggest laying out all the boards in order letters and numbers before starting... we had plenty of extra hardware as well. The monkey bars don’t lead anywhere u fortunately, the end at the back of the house and you just have to drop to the ground. We did have one defect at the bottom, under the slide, in front of the sandbox portion. With the hardware the said to use, it wasn’t a snug fit between the two connecting boards. But it’s at the ground so it’s not a concern for us. Bottom line, easy instructions, and the kids love it. Hope it hold up nicely because it would be a shame for them not to be able to enjoy it very long. Looks like it’ll be a great time for them either way.

We used the paper instructions as well as the BILT app. There were 4 people working on the assembly. The app said it would take 2 people 10 hours to complete. It took the 4 of us 7.5 hours. The only downfall was the wood was already cracked in some places so once we were screwing things in, the cracks got worse.

For the price, this is a nice set. I will say that the instructions are seriously lacking, and at times they were essentially useless. In all I would recommend sitting down and setting out the hardware ahead of time, step by step. That will make assembly go much smoother.

It's an awesome playset. Kids love it. 4.5 stars for the monkey bar base which was not aligning with the screw holes. I tried many times but ended up drilling news holes. One suggestion for the manufacturer it will be greatly helpful if item # of each screw/bolt to be used at each step was mentioned in the assembly instructions booklet. The description of part was given like screw lenght, but if in addition to that item# was listed it will make life so much easier assembling the play set. Overall it was a good/fun project assembling.

We purchased our swing set and paid extra for the installation. Definitely recommended! It took the installers over 12 hours to put it together. It’s a perfect size for our 3 year old, but wish it had more features for older children. There are only 3 monkey bars and they lead to a dead end. It does not allow you to use the monkey bars to get onto the platform to the slide which seemed pointless to me. But, in terms of price comparison, we can’t complain. Plus my daughter loves it.
