Backyard Discovery Belmont Cedar Wood Swing Set, Slide, Play Deck, Rock Wall Ladder

Very well built swingset, my daughter absolutely loves. Simple instructions didn’t take terribly long to put together

This is a beautiful swingset and perfect for our two kids plus a friend in our wide but shallow patio. It was delivered super quickly to our door by FedEx (or was it UPS?) and not a carrier or trucking company as we initially thought. One person put it together in about 15 hours over a few days with some help needed from a second person to reposition. This could have been greatly reduced if the flooring and ladder pieces had markers for where to drill (so we didn't have to measure for each board) and if holes for many of the nuts were drilled better (so we didn't have to widen them manually to make the bolts lock completely). But for the price, we are still very happy with this unit and would buy it again.

I wish the quality of the wood was a little better, it seems overly dry and splits easily. but other than that it's well thought out the hardware is quality I really like it. took three of us about 5 hours to put together. two people working while one person got parts in boats and nuts together for the next step.

Love the product except that the bench or the ladder isn’t very sturdy. It holds 25lb 2 yo without a problem but I can’t sit on the bench and if I have to step up to reach my toddler the ladder creaks like crazy. Instructions for assembly are straightforward, took a few days to get it together. There is a lot of left over hardware.

Great once put together. My husband and I did it in two days but only because he is great at figuring things out. Better directions or better drawing examples would be helpful. Also we had several pieces of wood with cracks. Only one bad enough that my husband had to fix for use. Many pieces of the cedar are peeling which is concerning with kids climbing, etc. we will sand and put some kind of sealer on the entire playset which will hopefully prevent splinters Aside from what I have mentioned the playset has been a huge hit with our six and three year old grandchildren

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product seems like it is for a toddler only. I would never allow a 8 or 9 year old on the set. The wood slat, especially where you sit, seem like they are going to break. Definitely not made for an older child or even large toddler.

So all of the wood is very light and thin when it's all complete it makes a lot of noise when they're on the swings the tarp is paper thin and overall alot smaller than expected for the age group it was pretty difficult to build because you had to drill several of your own holes some holes weren't lined up right and I was missing a bag of screws and several bags that came with it we're missing screws inside of sealed bags and the instructions weren't written well all in all if you're going to spend this much money you might as well just get the slide and the hardware and buy good lumber and you probably still save money

It's a beautiful set and my son likes it very much! It was a very lengthy process to assemble with 2 very knowledgeable adults. The wood is not that high quality and sturdy. Only small children should get on this otherwise it may break. Adults: don't attempt swinging or sitting on bench. It won't hold you.

Shipping was fast, and the product arrived in good shape! It was easy (if time-consuming) to put together and my toddler was thrilled. My only wish is that it was slightly sturdier for bigger kids. It's perfect for my almost-3-year-old. But I'm a small lady, and I can't sit on the snack bench with him without fear of the boards cracking! That said, the price can't be beat. This will be great for our intended use during the toddler and young elementary years.

Great play set - a few pieces of wood split when being put together, but we got it to still work. Only thing, the description said its for kids ages 3-10. We have a very skinny, lightweight 6 year old girl and when she swings, the fort is very creaky and sways a bit. Everything was put together correctly - just wondering if the age limit should be a little lower.
