We bought this set about a month ago after waiting months for it to come back into stock. I am so glad we waited and purchased this one. It shipped extremely quick, and we had it in less than 5 days. The shipping company was great and allowed us to pick it up since it was going to take them a bit longer to get it to us. It came in 6 boxes and while the amount of pieces was a bit overwhelming, the process to put it together was fairly simple. The directions were spot on, and there were no issues with any of the pieces. It took us about 15 hours total to put together over a few days. Our son is 2 and is in love with this set. I imagine we will get many years of fun with this.
With playgrounds and parks closed, we needed something for our 4 year old twins to do. This playset looks amazing and really wasn't too terrible to put together. It took my husband and I about 16 hours total. My kids love it and I can see them loving it for years and years to come.
Recently finished putting ours together. All in, about 14 hours with some help. Very impressed with the detail of the instructions, fit of the wood, labeling of all the pieces, and general finish of the product once totally together. The one watch out is make sure you pay close attention to the orientation of the bigger beams - critical that all holes are on the correct side, or you might had a surprise but of rework at some point!
We've only had it for about a week, but have spent every day playing on it. The negative is that my son wants me to climb with him and I am at the top of the weight limit. The floor of the club house part (we have the Liberty II) buckles a bit. The swings creak if I am on them so I worry about breaking it down. Overall it holds, but 150 lbs is definitely the max!
Very nice playset for the kids. Everything went together fine, but it does take longer than 12 hours to assemble even with 2 construction framers, and most of the time is trying to find the pieces in the 4 boxes included. My advice would be the day before go through the boxes and layout the pieces in alphabetic order for easier aqusition. Overall a great playset though.
I organized the parts by numbers, stained them systematically on all six sides. Put it together step by step as shown in the instruction book - great diagrams! very few words! All parts and hardware were as shown, and it went together very nicely. I prepped the area with drainage fabric and stone, leveled paver pads in the spots for uprights to bear on. It's level, square and so solid! It looks great in our landscaping. (I added screw-in ground anchors to the six re-bar anchor spots.) We purchased rubber tile pavers to surround the playset...working on cutting them in now. Everyone is so excited!
My kids love this playset! It has lots of room for them to grow in. I have only a few negatives, while it is large enough for them to grow into it, it is much taller than I thought it would be. Also, the floor boards seem a little weak (we plan on reinforcing them) and I wish the swing part was better supported (a second support beam would be much better than attaching to the 2nd floor railing). Other than that, this playset is fantastic!
Very good looking. Taller than we expected so really needs to be secured but pretty standard. Only 4/5 stars because although it's well-engineered, the wood is feather light. Once assembled it is rock solid but geez they could have made it from some heavier wood especially for the frame parts.
It took a while to out together but seems pretty well made. The directions were fairly easy to follow and the boards and pieces well marked. However, the deck doesn't seem very well supported (we are planning on adding a few pieces to help support) and the swings part also doesn't seem super supported. The end that attaches to the play area could definitely use more support. Just one more 3"x3" support beam would work well. It also doesn't come water proofed so we will need to apply a coat of sealant. It is also very tall - a 6' tall adult could stand up in the 2nd story area easily. Overall it seems to be a great play set and our kids love it so far. Would definitelt recommend this to others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi I'm unhappy with the structure of the playground. I have several pictures I took with the wood splitting. Unfortunately, it's unsafe and I would like to know what we can do from here. Thank you.
