Backyard Discovery Oakmont Swing Set Box 3

My almost 2 year old really enjoys this swing set. It’s definitely for younger children, and we will have to upgrade at some point years down the line but this is perfect for the time being. He has an infant sister so she will enjoy it in the future as well. My son can safely manage the ladder and slide himself. We ended up adding a bucket swing as he’s not safely swinging in a regular swing quite yet. My husband built it himself over the course of a few days of picking away at it. A few pieces did split but he was able to fix them with wood glue— these are pieces that did not compromise the safety of the structure. It’s a very solid, nice quality swingset, and I highly recommend it.

We bought this for our two young kids. They both love it. It is sturdy, well made, and built to last! These kiddos will be able to enjoy this swing set for years to come. Highly recommend this swing set and Backyadd Discovery. We had no issues putting this swing together.

It’s a great piece for the price, took the amount of time it’s says to put together (if you have a drill) looks exactly like it does it the picture and came with extra parts if you misplace some. And it came earlier than it said on shipping. My son absolutely loves it! Worth the buy for sure.

Unit was delivered on time in good condition. Instructions were easy to follow. All the hardware was correct. Material was in good shape with the occasional warp or twist, but thats what wood does. Overall our grandson loves it and we couldn't put it together fast enough. Being a perfectionist it took myself and my son two days for assembly. There are a million pieces and you need room to spread them out. It came in three boxes but was all there.

The company is very responsive, friendly and helpful. I prefer ordering directly through the manufacturer. The product was delivered in a timely fashion and easy to follow instructions and some tools included. If a novice like me could do it you can too! Well worth the money and time. We are very satisfied!

I bought this swing set for our backyard. Our grandson loves it! He gets to play in the playhouse and use his imagination, serving us "waffles" and "pizzas." He will swing for 1/2 hour at a time, if I let him! He also loves the slide. It has been great for the neighborhood kids, too. I did have a board crack and an anchor bend, but I called the company, and they replaced them very quickly. I did think that the set would be sturdier, so it would last him through his growing up years. Our 9-year old neighbor is too big for it. The swing creaks too much when she tries to use it, since she is already too heavy for it.

The swing set is reasonably priced, which is why we bought it. The wood isn’t that thick and some pieces seemed a little warped. But overall, it’s enjoyed by our 2 yr old. We also paid to have it put together which, for us, was worth it.... but it totally could be put together by 2 people in a day.

It’s made out of the cheapest wood I think they could find. Sounds like it’s going to fall apart when the kids are on it playing. Even with the pre-drilled holes the wood still wants to split when putting the screws in the wood.

Missing 2 pieces, issues with delivery

Not even 6 months later the wood is all splitting. When it was delivered it smelled like it was sprayed with red dye and cedar smell, Im pretty positive this is not actual cedar. Pretty sure we got scammed. Feels like the wood will break so easy. Was too bulk to return which is what I think they were counting on.
