Backyard Discovery Oakmont Swing Set

The play set is very sturdy. But... the door handle broke right off the bat! If you follow instructions on setting it up and take the time to organize all the boards and little bags of screws and things, you can move along pretty quickly in putting it together. It does take longer than they say, but it is all-in-all a pretty easy build. My grandaughter loves it and all her friends play on it alot. I recommend the purchase!

Got this swing set for the grand baby and she LOVES it!!! The quality is really good and feels strong. It seems it going to last for years to come that even grand baby %232 that’s one the way will be able to enjoy it.🥰

nice and sturdy swingset !good for ages 3 to 10, i would say! i would not count on the install, though, purchased in march, and they kept pushing it back multiple months into the end of june/early july while the swing set sat taking up my garage space. finally paid a local handy man to get it set up. 1 star for the company for install. took about 10 phone calls to even get a date set for install. big waste of time

Unit was delivered on time in good condition. Instructions were easy to follow. All the hardware was correct. Material was in good shape with the occasional warp or twist, but thats what wood does. Overall our grandson loves it and we couldn't put it together fast enough. Being a perfectionist it took myself and my son two days for assembly. There are a million pieces and you need room to spread them out. It came in three boxes but was all there.

We bought this for our two young kids. They both love it. It is sturdy, well made, and built to last! These kiddos will be able to enjoy this swing set for years to come. Highly recommend this swing set and Backyadd Discovery. We had no issues putting this swing together.

It's not necessarily a bad swing set, it's just cheaply made. Two pieces of wood came broken. This will probably only last my kids for one summer. Not built to last.

The swing set is reasonably priced, which is why we bought it. The wood isn’t that thick and some pieces seemed a little warped. But overall, it’s enjoyed by our 2 yr old. We also paid to have it put together which, for us, was worth it.... but it totally could be put together by 2 people in a day.

Was missing so many pieces and parts that we were not able to put it together. I had to ship it back, wait on my refund and buy a completely different swing set. 100% do not recommend.

Very flimsy, not very sturdy at all, very cheaply made. definitely not worth the money i spent to have it for my daughter. I would have been better off.Just building one myself

I have roamed the earth 37 years and this is by far the worst purchase I’ve ever completed in my life. I’m a general contractor in Florida that builds new modern construction homes, I’m handy I can build pretty much anything, I built this with my father in law who is also in construction. The wood is absolutely terrible the wood is lightweight and seems as fragile as bamboo, it has knots all over and several knots right where the predrilled locations for fasteners are-that makes this somewhat dangerous. The fasteners are absolutely the cheapest I’ve ever seen in my entire life, the company should really be ashamed they’ve included them. The instructions are pretty vague, some pages could be combined, there’s two pages they’ve accidentally forgotten to label the parts in the actual schematic, there should be much more detail. The slide is so cheap I was shocked, it’s two plastic sides that are decent quality but that actual slide is a plastic sheet that you drill into the plastic sides-these should be predrilled and reinforced with metal-this will highly likely not last an entire summer. There are randomly places that are not predrilled and the instructions say they need to be drilled- it’s puzzling because it seems like it was forgotten about at the factory. In the very front and back there’s a very ugly hardware that has to be drilled into the most visible part of the entire slide-this could have easily been stopped if different fasteners were included. The manufacturer could have easily made many of the fasteners the same size, I didn’t count the bags but I’d guess there’s about 40 different sizes of bolts, nuts, screws and washers. The instructions say this will take two people 5 hours and that is a little ambitious, we had all battery powered tools and didn’t make that timeframe. After getting this thing all together if it wasn’t a pain to disassemble I would absolutely return it. I usually don’t leave reviews but I want to warn anybody who’s thinking about purchasing.
