Backyard Discovery Riverton Swing Set

It look about 4 days of work by myself (only a few hours a day) to build the play set. The app made the instructions very clear. No broken pieces %26 the parts were all clearly labeled. We did purchase a saucer swing separately that is shown in the photo. Great purchase!

If I had seen a picture of how many pieces of wood and hardware were involved in putting this together, I would have hands down paid for the expert assembly. If you're debating on spending the extra money or not - DO IT. Don't make the same mistake I did. My husband and I worked for many hours today and aren't even close to being done. That being said, the app that gives the directions is very helpful.

My husband and I were chugging along with assembly until we couldn't find a part/piece and that was never sent. Now we are going to have to go to home depot to find a piece of wood and try to make it work so we can move forward. Who knows how many more pieces are missing that will hold up our assembly. We hoped to have it assembled before my 2 year olds bday as it is her gift but it's not going to happen. Pretty bummed.

One star because I can't give zero. I bought this for my daughters Easter gift. We opened it up to assemble today and there are many broken pieces. The box was damaged as you can see. My daughter won't get this for Easter and I am so disappointed. I was on the fence purchasing non KidKraft brand and this is why. 0/10. I have more photos of broken pieces but can only upload 6.

This thing is an absolute piece of garbage that reminds us of the saying, "You get what you pay for". Very difficult installation. When you open the instructions, it advises you that it can take 8 hours to put together, and it has an ad for installation services on the first page, which run from $500 to close to $1000. That should tell you something....We ended up putting it together ourselves, but it took 3 sessions over the course of several days to get it done. The wood is very, very cheap and was constantly splitting as we were putting it together. Many wood pieces already had splits when we pulled them out of the box. Most of the pieces of wood were so flimsy, I could have easily snapped them in half with my bare hands if I wanted to. We were also missing one bag of screws, which we ended up having to replace with a similar type of screw ourselves. Luckily, our toddler will only be using this from the ages of 3-4 before we move and leave it behind, so he will not weigh much while he uses it. That being said, I would never trust this thing with the weight of a 10 year old child. Spend a little more money and get something nicer. I would probably go with a different brand as well, since the wood this company supplied was so flimsy and cheap.

I purchased this on October 19, 2022 and it was delivered on October 26, 2022. I began to assemble this right away and realized that the slide is broken down into 4 parts. I received 4 parts but it was 2 sets of the upper half of the slide. I was missing the lower half. I have reached out to them several times and I still don’t have the lower half. Christmas is 10 days away and I won’t be able to give my granddaughter her present.

the wood was already kind of split we started building and it would split more but we were already halfway through some stuff that we just kept building thinking it would be okay we've had it for a few months my daughter is used it here and there and the wood just looks like it keeps splitting. I don't recommend not worth the money save your money and buy something else

I like that it's smaller that about sums up what I liked many of my boards had cracks things usually didn't line up, wood is a extremely poor quality no finish so if I want the playground to last more than a year gonna have to do that myself, the wood was so splintery and rough received quite a few splinters.

It's not disclosed that there are 82 pages of instructions that weren't even included and I had to use my printer ink. But there are so very many pieces to put together that it's overwhelming. My daughter says we'll put pieces together little by little but it will take awhile. I'm disappointed it's in too many pieces and that was not disclosed.

The swing set looks great but wood is really thin and it is already starting to crack after only 4 months I wish after I saw how thin it was I just sent it back but grandkids were already here so I put it together I will be calling Walmart to see about a refund but they probably won’t take it back
