I was waiting to test this on an actual wound but I had an bug bite that was made worse from some vigorous scratching so I decided to use the Bactine Antimicrobial Wound Care Hydrogel to help relieve the itchiness and it worked! The itching stopped immediately afterwards! Very impressed. It does leave a little bit of a stickiness on the skin after rubbing it in but it dries quickly so it's not very noticeable.
