Badger Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream, SPF 30, 2.9 fl oz

Great quality product. Love supporting a family owned business with a product that is made in America. Sunscreen is thick, but rubs on pretty well and lasts! Used it in Hawaii and it did not disappoint. Sand sticks to your body though, but it's worth not getting burned and having chemicals seep into your skin like other sunscreens. I did a lot of research on Sunscreen, it's hard to find a product that uses natural ingredients and Zinc that has the nanometer rating where it won't seep into your blood stream. I'll be using this product forever.

Dissappears on the skin and stays put to prevent sun burn after sweating and the pool. Like all sunscreen, it works best when you apply at least 10 minutes before water exposure or even just clothes. My husband doesn't love the zinc smell, but that's a minor issue. Maybe the best natura, zinc basedl sunscreen I've used yet.

While I marked with high stars, I didn't get to use it because, I ordered the double tube but only received one tube. So I had to return. However, I did repurchase from the brand, two adventure tubes and two sport tubes. I did a lot of research to find this brand and unlike most off the shelf sunscreens this one does not cause cancer and is ocean-safe using biodegradable ingredients without micro-plastics.

Good product. It was smooth, easy to apply and didn't leave any white residue. There was an odor at the beginning of application but it went away quickly. Highly satisfied.

Badger has great customer service, the texture of this product is great, and the product is exactly as advertised, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. I took off 1 star because this sunscreen contains clear zinc oxide and NOT non-nano zinc oxide. Testing has shown that clear zinc oxide does not break down and enter the bloodstream, which is why Badger uses it, but I feel safer using non-nano zinc oxide instead. Badger used to use non-nano zinc oxide in this sunscreen, so I purchased it with that assumption but found that I was wrong when I received the product.

Effective, but feels very heavy and greasy on my skin. Very uncomfortable to wear, even on less sensitive areas like the arms and shoulders.
