I have always had trouble with breakouts and a burning sensation when I use sunscreen on my face. I recently purchased this for a trip to the beach (Florida panhandle in July!) and wore it every day. I also wear a hat but I find that the sun reflecting off the sand can be just as dangerous as the direct rays! This sunscreen did not create that burning sensation once I went out into the sun and kept my face extremely protected. And I had zero breakouts! Even after using this multiple times a day for 6 days straight. When I applied it to my skin, it was very thick with a whiteish tint but as soon as I rubbed it in with my hands, it disappeared. I'm very happy with this purchase. I love Badger Balm products!!!

I was skeptical this would be effective. It needs reapplying at least once if you are going to be out in the sun all day, but otherwise it does its job beautifully! I never used to put sunscreen on my face because I just couldn't stand the feeling of the oil and sweat mixing on a hot day. Thankfully that is a non-issue with this product, and using this sunscreen stick is now a part of my daily morning routine.

I have used many sunscreens over the years. I'm glad to find one environmentally friendly and works great! Just rub it in and it won't look white. We all used it in Hawaii in June when the sun is at it's most intense. No one got burned or even pink. This compares to using a typical sunscreen stick with less intense sun and my daughter still gets pink on her face. I will absolutely purchase again.

This product worked really well! It kept my daughter's face from burning, and is so easy to apply. It seemed like it helped her areas of acne to heal better after application than her acne cleansers too! That is unbelievable, but true. There must be something in zinc that helps acne which NO Dermatologist is talking about or telling their patients. Overall, we are very happy with this product.

I apply it every morning. It goes on smooth and it smells great! It has a slight white tint but nothing extreme, I just rub it in and it disappears. I have really sensitive skin and this is the ONLY product I found that doesn't break me out. I love it will never use anything else!! Please never stop making this!! I highly recommend

I like that it's so well-rated on EWG. However, I wish it was a little easier to put on - tends to pull the skin a little. For an adult, it's probably ok. But for my 4 year olds, they didn't love the feeling, and it made sunscreen application even more of a chore. Keeping it for myself, though!

I am medium-brown and work outside. This product does its job as long as applied thoroughly. However it is REALLY sticky and hard, and difficult to apply unless it's warm. It also smells kind of not so great. It's not an awful smell but I don't love it.
