I like to try natural remedies first and this is the one I reach for when I have a headache, especially from tension. I apply it to my temples and gently rub it in. Then I apply it behind my ears and massage my outer ears, lobes, and the scalp behind my ears. It helps release the tension and relieve the headache.

Headache Soother might just be my favorite product from Badger Balm. We use this regularly in our home. It is so soothing when you have a headache but also helps with a stuffy nose. Just add some right under your nostrils & breathe deep! Lovely! I've given several to friends when we are hanging out & need relief. They always want to take it with them

I have been using this product for a decade. I have tension headaches and used to have migraines. This stuff on the neck and upper back is pure magic. Often, it works better than any medicine for the tension headaches. And I still don't understand how. I just keep one everywhere!

I work midnights, have to sit at a desk that's overly lit with fluorescent lights & I get migraines a lot. This rubbed on my neck, behind my ears, temples etc with sunglasses on, a couple ibuprofen and I can usually avoid taking my prescription migraine buster. It's been a long time favorite but I wish it still came in the tin like the old one.

I'm sad that Badger has moved towards plastic tubes for their products. Using what feels like a glue stick just doesn't provide the same user experience as the delightful little round tins that nestled in the palm of one's hand. There was something ritualistic and soothing about that process, and I found it is completely lost with the plastic roll-up. The product inside the tube is pleasant enough, I can't say if it works for headaches because I only tried it once and was so disappointed I didn't use it again. Another lovely thing about the little tins is that they could be re-used for other things (homemade balms, storing small items, etc). Of course, the plastic sticks just go into the landfill, don't they?
