need a smaller one
I was amazed that my cat didn't freak out when I put it on him, but the straps are as short as they'll go and the Velcro barely meets. I'm keeping it in case he's still growing since he's barely a year old. He didn't like not being able to lick his shoulder but that was it.

nice quality just runs very small.
They are very small sizes. I got my dog which weighs 5 pounds and is extra small that is what she normally wears, it is very small and it is like a mini dog or maybe a kitten. the small actually fit her.

needs a size in between medium and small. leash is a joke
