Supe easy install. Folds up out of the way if needed. Not great for anything real heavy to be put in there but that is fine with me. The only thing I docked was bang for buck. I believe it is expensive for what you get but it is made in America and I'm willing to pay a little more with a company I trust.
I got the box for my 2016 GMC Denali HD, I figured the box would fit my truck easily, it didn't. You need to have the cover made by the same company for this to fit easy. It doesn't fit with any hard multi-panel cover. I had an aluminum box made to fill the 5 1/2 inches I needed to fill for it to fit correctly in my bed. Even though I had issues installing at first, once I had the filler box made, the tool box fit in just fine. To hard cover I used was the accessory quad cover offered by GM.
This is a wonderful addition to the Bakflip cover. Just enough room to store your necessary tools for storage. The other feature that is cool, is ability to fold it up to make more room in the bed compartment for hauling. Great work Bakflip. Thumbs up.
Decent under Tonneau Toolbox. It holds what I need it to hold. For the price I thought it would be a little more heavy duty and bigger than it is. Overall pleased with it, I have a place to keep tie down straps, gloves, folding shovel, tactics hatchet, ...
I like this toolbox very much. I can move things Ive had to keep in the cab into the toolbox. Everything stays dry. My only complaint is that it comes with enough screws but not enough plates to mount it correctly. Unless I overlooked it but I ordered two more plates with screws for the rear of the toolbox as well as another tray
I ordered a F1 with this, which fit perfectly. Unfortunately, this bakbox 2 doesn't fit and is a full 2" short in width for my 2014 Ram 3500 Long Bed. After several months of back and forth, and a 2nd shipment of parts, it still doesn't fit my truck and I am seeking a full refund. RealTruck so far has been great. We will see how the refund goes though. Even if this did fit, I wasn't impressed with the sturdiness of this unit. The way it is supposed to mount into the rails and how it is held in place with velcro straps after folding out are fairly flimsy and could have been better served by a heartier design. I wish it had actually fit so I could have fully evaluated it. I advise skipping this feature and go with a different bed storage solution.
The box will work well and is well made BUT it does NOT fold flat up against the wall of the truck. The videos and pictures are deceiving because they are a black box in a black truck bed so it's very hard to see that it doesn't fold away neatly. When the box is folded up it is about 4 inches away from the back of the truck so it effectively shrinks our bed, and the box does't remove easily however I think I can modify it and fix that issue.
Received a new bakflip mx4 cover due to warranty issue. Well they redesigned it and now the bakbox 2 doesn't work with it. I spent $400 on this is shouldn't have to pay to get one that works with the cover I had
Bought for a 2018 Raptor. Keeps falling out of the rails. It’s a truck, if the box doesn’t stay in when you’re on a rough road it’s useless. Customer support via email was a waste of time. They insisted I didn’t follow the instructions. I did. They design sucks. Not worth the money.
I really love the cover but none of the mounting brackets was correct for me 2021 titan pro-4x and I specifically ordered the one for my truck. It was to work with the track system but after many failed attempts I had to modify the mounts. I looked all over there site you tube and enternet and nothing on how to install with this kit
