BAK Industries 92524 BAKBox 2 Tonneau Cover Fold Away Utility Box Fits Titan XD

After some research it seems the Ford branded hard, folding tonneau is made by a Bakflip company. I took a chance and it fits perfectly. Not sure why Bakflip does not advertise as such. It only took a few minutes to mount. I have a fair amount of weight in it and have not had any problems.

Great addition to BakFlip cover easy to install . Found instructions a bit confusing. All info I could find not much help. Finally figured out mounting brackets. Longer brackets go towards tailgate and shorter go next to cab. Videos I checked were not helpful.

Decent under Tonneau Toolbox. It holds what I need it to hold. For the price I thought it would be a little more heavy duty and bigger than it is. Overall pleased with it, I have a place to keep tie down straps, gloves, folding shovel, tactics hatchet, ...

I feel like this storage box is a swing and a miss. It's not very strong and hangs off the rails so you wouldn't want to put many heavy tools in it anyway. But because of the way the Bakflip rolls, it can't sit forward flush against the front of the truck bed, either, so you lose a lot of forward cargo space. And since it doesn't have a lid, if you regularly drive with your tonneau open (e.g. fifth-wheel camper towing) dust and rain can get into what you have stored here.

I ordered a F1 with this, which fit perfectly. Unfortunately, this bakbox 2 doesn't fit and is a full 2" short in width for my 2014 Ram 3500 Long Bed. After several months of back and forth, and a 2nd shipment of parts, it still doesn't fit my truck and I am seeking a full refund. RealTruck so far has been great. We will see how the refund goes though. Even if this did fit, I wasn't impressed with the sturdiness of this unit. The way it is supposed to mount into the rails and how it is held in place with velcro straps after folding out are fairly flimsy and could have been better served by a heartier design. I wish it had actually fit so I could have fully evaluated it. I advise skipping this feature and go with a different bed storage solution.

Terrible installation, poor quality. I do not think this will last. I am giving it a 2 star on the hope that after I wedged everything together, the cheap materials will hold. It says it will hold 250 pounds, I do not believe that and will not test it. If you will have a lot of tools in the box, I would not recommend.

Received a new bakflip mx4 cover due to warranty issue. Well they redesigned it and now the bakbox 2 doesn't work with it. I spent $400 on this is shouldn't have to pay to get one that works with the cover I had

It works great around town but it did not hold up offroad. While driving on rough terrain, the box came loose and fell into the truck bed while loaded with approximately 100 pounds of recovery gear. Well below the 200-pound limit. The brackets are easily bent and deformed. I am disappointed as I love the hardcover. I am waiting to hear back on my return request.

I really love the cover but none of the mounting brackets was correct for me 2021 titan pro-4x and I specifically ordered the one for my truck. It was to work with the track system but after many failed attempts I had to modify the mounts. I looked all over there site you tube and enternet and nothing on how to install with this kit

First of all this thing didn't come with the correct amount of hardware. I was missing bolts. Additionally, the bolt holes didn't line up with the bracket and I had to make my own holes. Secondly it doesn't mount flush with the front of the bed because is has to have room to be able to fold. It is made of cheap flimsy panels that would never be able to hold any amount of weight. My 20 pound daughter leaned on it was I was installing it and I thought it was going to break. I like the cover but wish I didn't waste nearly $300 on this cheesey excuss for a tool box.
