THE COVER LOOKS GREAT AND FITS PERFECTLY ON MY 2025 MAVERICK. IT ARRIVED EARLY AND WAS VERY WELL PACKAGED. I WOULD MAKE A PURCHASE FROM REAL TRUCK AGAIN. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE IN THE BOX AND I HAD TO GE TO INTERNET FOR HELP PUTTING IT ON, I DID NOT LIKE THAT.
This Tonneau cover makes life a lot easier. You have the option of complete pickup bed coverage, to partial Coverage and to almost Completely Open with the front panel down or folded up against the back of the cab. It allows you to have the cover open for access to our 5th wheel trailer hook up while keeping some articles covered in the front of the pickup bed. With a little ingenuity we were able to make a curtain of sorts that is used to conceal personal belongings in the front. (Out of sight, out of mind. ) The cover has a glossy black finish that seems very durable even after several months of use and car washes. The installation wasn't too difficult although the orientation of the side rails was a little confusing. It was also a little difficult getting the fasteners snapped into place so the side rails would be perfectly vertical to allow the cover to latch down. Once that was accomplished, the cover latched down perfectly without having to slam it down.
Disappointed in how the G2s are built now. Not heavy duty like the past ones I've purchased; this is my 4th G2 so I have ample experience with them. Because the cover is so much thinner overall, more water comes in. Granted I knew it wasn't waterproof but a fair amount more comes in. I like the look and how much easier they are to install but it's not worth the cost increase.
I purchased the BAKFlip G2 folding cover for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma. It shipped and arrived in days. I was a little confused by the instruction format (used to old school manuals) and this came in the form of a url link to a video. But once I understood that the connections were specific to my truck model and would look exactly like what was in the video, it was easy. Got it installed in less than an hour. Feels good, opens easy and closes with a snap. I love the low profile look. Now that I am more aware of covers in general, it is far superior to all of the other soft covers that I see driving around.
I absolutely love this tailgate cover. It is exactly what I needed to keep my belonging safe and secure while moving. It's sleek and low profile and it gets the job done. I love the hard cover compared to the soft covers I see around from other brands. Those seem to allow air to get inside and you can hear it flapping in the wind. I don't even notice I have it on, it's very light and hasn't added any noticeable weight to the vehicle. It's nice to know that nothing will fall out of the truck bed when driving.
I had the same cover on my other truck so I already knew what to expect. Its not completely water proof some water does seep in but not much. I can deal with it for the protection I get. The quality is top notch and. I would definitely recommend getting this if you like to keep things in your bed and want to know they will be there when you need them.
Easy to install and already had it endure two torrential downpour of rain and it kept the space dry except for just a little water near the tailgate. That said, I expected it. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how it will hold up! (Thank you, Steve from support for helping me get this item in time!)
This same cover was on my last truck which got hit by a tornado last October. It sustained a few scratches and dents but held up really well! And it still maintained it's weather proofing, even after $20k damage to the truck!! Needless to say, I bought another one for my new 2500 HD!!
I have a 2012 Honda Ridgeline and needed a cover for the bed. I like the trifold cover so I can open just what I need and makes it easy for my wife to open. When my order arrived it was missing the tailgate seal. I notified customer service and they sent me the missing part free of charge and took about 2 weeks total to get the part. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and the customer service. Only time will tell how long the cover will last.
Has been on order for over two weeks and not shipped. Have called and chatted and get no information for the delay. My credit card was charged when ordered and will be due soon. I will have to challenge the charge and refuse to pay if not at least shipped. I feel like I have been ripped off by false advertising.
