Bakugan Geogan, Amphrog Collectible Action Figure (Walmart Exclusive)

My boys love these we can't buy enough of these.

Exactly what our grandsons asked for. Ages 4-10 talk incessantly about Bakugans and love to show and tell with older generations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little toy has so much punch! My children love it. My son is now using his imagination and pretending way more than before. He is playing alone but also playing with friends and able to understand what to do. Great quality, great toy! Hands down would recommend this to any parent looking for something a little different foe their children!

He was really impressed by the pyramid shape and he loved figuring out how to make it work. He's excited to show it to his friends and teach them how it works. Reading Bakugan cards gets him excited about reading.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid was entertained for maybe 5 minutes playing with this - we could not identify what kind of animal/insect it was. Other than that, the material is of good quality, and no matter what kind of creature it is - it was cool when it opened up from being in an enclosed form.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was super excited to get Mutasect to add to his collection of Bagugan. This toy is not really great on it's own but it's very amazing to watch it pop open on the magnetic card. The fact that he is not a ball made my son so excited. Rolling a egg shape is fun. Would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to add to their Bagugan collection or wants to start off. My son is 7 and this toy will last for years. It's something he can play with friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my kids were very excited to tear this toy open! We got the bakugan called swarmer. The kids quickly figured out how to collapse the toy into a cylinder and then how to make it pop back to its original form. It came with some information cards which the kids studied closely. A fun little toy and now my kids wants more of them!

It is the same idea but you have a physical toy that transforms making it a lot more fun. Now the only problem is my son wants more so we can see all the cool transformations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #FamilyRatedClub is reviewing Spin Master Toy's Bakugan Geogan Rising. Each came with as collectible action figure and trading cards. I was given Amphrog to review. There are over 60 creatures from Vestoria the land they are from. I had never heard Bakugan (I am shortening it) and neither had my step son (age 7) or his two friends (one 7 one 8). Like most toys the action figure is prominently displayed to entice children. It worked because within moments of the toy leaving packaging it was mailed in, it was snatched from my possession. Not knowing what it was they ripped it open and typical of kids today in no more than 5 minutes they knew what to do with the action figure. The Action Figure- a.k.a. the only cool part of this toy. It says collectible but as mentioned there are over 60 and they are still going. Bakugan are magnetic toys fold into little shapes and then you drop them and they roll out in to their creature. It was cool to watch. Novelty Wears Off-a.k.a. so what is the point of those cards? Inside was 2 ability and 1 gateway card. Not one of the kids seemed impressed because they hadn't heard of this toy and didn't know what to do with them. Google Help!!!! With the kids losing interest and me not being able to give direction I looked to Google. What did I discover? Its a game. Sold in separate pieces and relying you having friends who are also Bakugan fans who also have a creature to battle yours. From there it went more in depth. Its also a t.v. show on Cartoon Network giving them a built in fanbase. Verdict- Being a fan is definitely a requirement. Watching the action figure roll out into its creature was creative and amusing but the novelty wears off. Without being a fan of Amphrog or whatever creature you have you are not as invested.
