[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has had Bakugan characters in the past and liked creating his own game. After receiving the Bakugan Legends NOVA Series Single Pack featuring Haos Nova Dragonoid he wants to learn the game and play with friends. The light up midsection of the toy is fun and is triggered to light when the toy is rolled across a magnetic card and pops up to reveal its true shape. The light is blue in colour and only says on for a few seconds. It comes with an AG13 (LR44) battery that can be replaced by unscrewing the back of the toy. I think this would make an excellent toy for kids 6 and up.

I would not lie this light up toy is a hit in my house since the day I receive it. This is with them 24/7. They get excited rolling it on the Bakugan board and gets thrilled when when the ball light and opens up. They even sneaked it in the backpack to show it to their friends. Lol... Definitely a hit and will recommend it to other parents to buy for their kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was super excited to see this toy. He recognized the character and enjoyed playing with it. It was tricky to understand how to fold it in and make it into a ball. I think a detailed instructions on how to play would be a great addition to the existing instructions. Overall my son enjoyed it but not a favourite for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is so much fun, the bakugan toy is great. My kids loved throwing it around watching it evolve as it hit the floor. The lights on the toy are fantastic and added to the fun of playing in the dark. It is a cool shape and concept. However, the only downfall i can say about this product it that sometimes my daughter had a hard time building the figure back into a ball. This toy provided fun for hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 boys were very excited to receive this toy. They liked the character and the fact that it lit up when it unrolled. My only negatives on this product is the instructions included don't show how to close the bakugan so we had to go on YouTube to watch a video. Once we figured it out then it was easy. The package also comes with a card on the character and another card that you use to play a game with this bakugan. I wish it had some sort of general instruction on how the game was played for kids that have never played before that would be a bonus. All in all it was a good toy that my boys liked and played alongside some of their other 'battle' toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased to have choosen to test and learn more about a Bakugan toy. My daughter is 6 years old and she tried to play with it. It took a bit of practice to fold the character, a dragon in this case, into a ball. The folding parts are a bit finicky. The ball is supposed to be rolled onto a special card that causes the ball to pop open into the character and light up for a few seconds. There were no instructions on the package so an internet search helped. The idea is you need to purchase more pieces so you can 'brawl' and play a game. My daughter was not that interested in this toy as she dosn't know Bakugan ( based on an anime television series.) I can see how a child that is into this series can collect the characters and play with other children who also have characters. It is kind of like Pokemon.
