Exactly what I needed %26 has some weigh to it, it was time for me to upgrade from a standard 2piece bar. No issues with the plates, has decent grip, %26 my standard clamps fit nicely. Btw I am still a beginner as well so I'm not lifting too heavy to know its limit but it's good for me.

bar is great does not come with locking rings and spring locks dont fit tight enough

Very Sturdy
The bar is sturdy and supports our weights without an issue. I am having some trouble finding spring clips that actually fit properly.

Needs improvement, measurements aren't compatible
I like this product. However, it did not come with any spring collars to hold weights in place AND the bar measures slightly smaller than the standard 1" diameter. So now my BalanceFrom 1in Standard Weightlifting Barbell, 300lb Capacity is just a really cool balance bar.

Great value
This weight bar is solid and very good. My 1" weights and spring clips didnt fit. They were loose. I put some duct tape on it then everything was tight. The bar is very heavy. 5' length is perfect. Room to add more weight. I am pleased with this product and the price.

smaller than 1"
Nice bar, but not really 1" more like 7/8". 1" spring clips I ordered are too large and won't hold. Weights have 1 1/8" hole and I think 1/4" is too much play.

Poor Design
The textured grip portion should be extended all the way to the bushings. Sometimes we have to put our hands all the way out there when doing squats for instance and it's smooth, makes no sense.
