BalanceFrom Classic Cast Iron Weight Plates, 2 X 25 lb

These plates are very well-made, sturdy, heavy duty…great handles. My only regret is that I think Walmart has discontinued. Most of them. I know they've got smaller sets …which is great, but I like the larger doubles better. The plates are very durable cosmetically appealing they ship expediently…. very well packaged. Always arrive on time and intact. Walmart actually has a very good product ….once again… I wish they would carry more of them. I have bought a couple more sets of them.😉 I recommend this product, hands-down, five stars, Im really hoping to buy more in my future🏋️‍♀️

So far So Good - this is an excellent addition to my home gym. The added 2 inch clamps made the purchase even better. The weigh is approximately a dollar a pound - you cannot go wrong with this purchase unless you accidently drop and break a plate. Thank you Balancefrom.

These work great for those fractional increases. I have the bumper plates and the lightest plate is 10 lbs. meaning an increase of 20 lbs. these work great with only increasing the total weight by 5 or 10 lbs. the cut out hand holds makes moving them very easy.

The cast Iron plates are of great construction quality, I have dropped them a few times before I put rubber foam and they have no chipping at all. The main purpose of purchasing these plates was the ease of use when it comes to certain plate workouts I do that was my primary concern and choice for purchasing the plates.

I like the fact that the weights are not as thick as other plate weights that I have therefore you can get more on a sleeve. They are a cast-iron with a durable painted finish if they get scratched, dented or chipped, you can easily spray them and make them look brand new again. The handles are very user-friendly. The value is fabulous. The shipping is top-of-the-line. I recommend this product and I'm replacing weights with this product constantly so far I'm about 2000 pounds in plate weights in this particular product and my cart has several more in it that I'm purchasing in the future.

Review for 25 lb x 2 Olympic plates. I used these today on my Smith machine and they worked great. They fit well enough to go on easily enough but not loose where they'll shift around (I don't use clamps). The integrated handle is key, I'm unsure why I ever bought the cheap ones without it. The handle design also allows for easy plate removal when plates are sticking together.

Probably the only negative is shipping. It should come in one box instead of 3 boxes. The product itself is fine. And if you live at a house where it's just you or you and your family, it's fine. But if you live in an apartment with a lot of foot traffic it appears that you're getting more than you are which draws unnecessary attention to you. This isn't about the product, again that's fine, just how they ship it. It's not a huge piece of furniture or something, it wouldn't be difficult to put it all in one box.

I am amazed at the quality of these plates. I regret not buying more when they were on sale. I used to buy the weider 25lb hammertone plates, and I can't find them anymore. But these plates are a great alternative. The material is not clear coated like the weider plates, but I think they do have a painted anti-rust coating. It doesn't leave a residue, doesn't have any sharp edges, the handles are easy to grip, and the plates have no smell. It fits an olympic 2inch barbell perfectly.

it is packed in one long box if you think its going get there like that think again if its shipped fed x forget about it it was delivered with one band out five still intact parts lose out the side of the box no instructions or part list left at the bottom of my porch 5 steps down the quailty of the product is good they may want to send in more then one box

As for the quality, a lump of metal is a lump of metal. The coating was damaged and flaking when I received it, as the boxes for all of the weight plates had been severely damaged. It took several days to receive the various boxes, which did not arrive together. The set serves the purpose I intend, but I will not be ordering from this supplier again.
