Excellent price! Handles on plates make it more versatile. It does the job and more!
Im working out 🏋️ from home so I really need it
This was the cheapest 300 lb. set that I could find anywhere on the Internet. Based on some of the negative reviews I was concerned about not receiving all of the weights and then having to return everything. I did receive all of my weights and the bar and rather quickly! All of the weights except for one of the 45 lb. plates came on a Saturday and then the remaining 45 lb. plate and the barbell came on Monday. There were a few very slight imperfections in the paint on some of the weights but nothing of any concern. Everything is in good shape and it came at a fantastic price! I look forward to using them.
Great price, and no issues with quality. They are narrow plates that work fine with my dumbbell and barbell bars. Also easy to grip if using by themselves. With an almost 10” diameter they are not ideal to place on the inside of a dumbbell bar for some exercises so I order my weights with these on the outside to keep them off my wrists. Not my favorite but only a minor inconvenience.
Cheapest 300lb Olympic barbell set I could find online $300 at the time of purchase. I ordered the rubber coated tri-grip set at no additional cost. The plates are great and have no cons. The bar feels very cheap, and the collars are rough as if they were milled but never finished. So, the weights don't slide on/off the bar smoothly. Also, the clips to stop the weights sliding off were missing. Shipping took about 3-4 days.
When doing butterflies on the bench...wear goggles to protect the eyes...paint chips fly off the weights when you clap them together...always liked the sound of iron smashing iron. Dont want any bodies eyes to be put out like Samson.
These will serve their purpose, but it's a clear case of getting what you pay for. Finish on these plates is not great, and showed up with large chips on the edges. Again, they will function fine for what I need these for, but they don't compare to my other iron plates for look and finish.
Like a few others, I ordered a set of 4 plates, but only received 2 plates. I could not find contact info for the seller, ultimately Walmart settled the dispute with me. Thanks Walmart. The plates we did receive are nice, but I will not likely to use this seller again due to not being able to contact them and the ongoing issue of people not getting their entire order.
Still hasn't arrived. Tracking hasn't worked. The last time I ordered, everything was fine. Time before that, Fedex lost my order and I had to start over. I hope that isn't what's happening this time as well.
Ordered the 1-inch center and got a 2-inch center. Now I need to return.
